Abstract

ABSTRAK Diabetes Melitus (DM) memiliki prevelensi tinggi di Indonesia. Pedoman diet Diabetes Melitus yang ada seringkali tidak efektif. Mindful eating berpotensi menjadi intervensi pelengkap untuk mengatur keseimbangan kadar gula darah dan meningkatkan kepatuhan diet. Meningkatkan pengetahuan kader dan penderita DM dalam lingkup RW 6, Gadel Jaya Timur, Kel. KarangPoh, Kec. Tandes, Kota Surabaya mengenai mindful eating. Metode meliputi survey Lokasi, penyuluhan mindful eating, pemeriksaan kadar gula darh, dan senam kaki diabetes yang diikuti oleh 72 peserta.Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) berjalan dengan baik dan mendapatkan respons positif dan antusiasme tinggi dari kader. Kehadiran peserta penyuluhan mencapai 100% dan diskusi terjadi secara aktif. Peningkatan pengetahuan kader diharapkan mendukung peran mereka sebagai pendamping Kesehatan Masyarakat. penyuluhan mindful eating diterima baik oleh Masyarakat RW 6, Gadel Jaya Timur, Kel. KarangPoh, Kec. Tandes, Kota Surabaya. Dengan ini, menunjukkan bahwa adanya potensi mindful eating sebagai metode dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan diet dan keseimbangan kadar gula darah  Kata Kunci: KKN, Mindful Eating, Diabetes Melitus, Penyuluhan   ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus (DM) has a high prevalence in Indonesia. Existing Diabetes Mellitus dietary guidelines are often ineffective. Mindful eating has the potential to be a complementary intervention to regulate a balance of blood sugar levels and improve dietary compliance. To increase the knowledge of cadres and patients with DM within the scope of RW 6, Gadel Jaya Timur, Kel. KarangPoh, Kec. Tandes, Surabaya City. The method includes location survey, mindful eating counseling, checking blood sugar levels, and diabetic foot exercises which were attended by 72 participants. The Community Service Program (KKN) activities went well and received a positive response and high enthusiasm from the cadres. Attendance of counseling participants reached 100% and discussions took place actively. The increased knowledge of cadres is expected to support their role as Community Health assistants. Mindful eating counseling was well received by the community of RW 6, Gadel Jaya Timur, Kel. KarangPoh, Kec. Tandes, Surabaya City. with this, it shows that there is potential for mindful eating as a method in improving dietary adherence and balance of blood sugar levels. Keywords: Community Service, Mindful Eating, Diabetes Mellitus, Conseling
