Abstract

Sekolah SMAN 1 GAUNG ANAK SERKA merupakan sekolah negeri yang terletak di JL. MERDEKA TIMUR NO.90 TELUK PINANG,kec.Gaung Anak Serka, Kab. Indragiri Hilir, Riau. Sekolah ini juga telah terakreditasi A dengan SK Akreditasi nomor 581/BAP-SM/KP-09/X/2016 yang dikeluarkan pada 26 Oktober 2016. Tahun 2023 ini, data siswa-siswi yang mengukuti PPDB di sekolah ini terbilang cukup ramai, pasalnya setidaknya ada sekitar 104 orang siswa yang berhasil lolos PPDB di sekolah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui banyaknya siswa yang lolos. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan data kolektif dari data siswa yang losos PPDB. Hasil dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa persen jumlah siswa yang lolos seleksi PPDB.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the regional origin and job profile of the guardians of Indragiri Islamic University Information Systems students class of 2023 using the Power BI data visualization tool. The data used in this research was obtained from a survey conducted on these students in 2023. The analysis methods used include data segmentation, creating interactive visualizations, and modeling to describe the characteristics of the students' guardians' residences and workplaces. The results showed that there was significant variation in the residence of student guardians, and the majority came from outside the area. Apart from that, the analysis also reveals the variety of jobs held by student guardians, ranging from professional to entrepreneurial. Data visualization using Power BI facilitates a better understanding of these patterns, highlighting relevant trends and differences within groups.
