Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how collaboration can be established between the Library of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (FISIP Unpad) and Bank BRI in building the Creative Hub and Knowledge Center facility. In recent times, collaboration is a necessity, it is no longer an optional consideration. Considering the important role of collaboration between one institution and another, especially collaboration in academic libraries, I am interested in bringing up this topic. In the midst of many limitations and challenges faced by academic libraries, collaboration with other parties can be an alternative solution to overcome this problem. This research method used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews with related parties that knew how this collaboration came to existence. The result shows that this collaboration is a form of BRI Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran (FISIP Unpad) through the Creative Hub & Knowledge Center facility with various stages of collaboration. The existence of this new facility brings many benefits to the academic community of Universitas Padjadjaran as well as Bank BRI.

Abstract

Repositori Ilmiah Nasional (RIN) Dataverse yang dikelola oleh Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) merupakan infrastruktur strategis untuk mendukung pengelolaan, preservasi, dan pemanfaatan data riset di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi RIN Dataverse BRIN melalui lima aspek kunci, yaitu konten, layanan, komunitas, staf, dan promosi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tim pengelola RIN BRIN dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari sisi konten, RIN berhasil mengakumulasi puluhan ribu dataset dan ratusan ribu datafile sehingga menjadi repositori data riset terbesar di Indonesia. Dari aspek layanan, tersedia fasilitas deposit, akses data, pendampingan DMP, live chat, hingga bimbingan teknis untuk memudahkan peneliti dalam pengelolaan data. Pada aspek komunitas, keterlibatan peneliti, dosen, mahasiswa, dan mitra eksternal mulai terbangun, meskipun masih diwarnai keraguan terkait keamanan data. Dari sisi staf, tim pengelola berperan penting sebagai data steward yang tidak hanya mengelola data, tetapi juga memberikan asistensi, pendampingan, serta kurasi konten untuk menjamin kualitas repositori. Terakhir, aspek promosi dijalankan melalui sosialisasi internal-eksternal, publikasi artikel ilmiah, konferensi pers, serta pemanfaatan media sosial seperti Instagram untuk menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan RIN Dataverse tidak hanya bergantung pada kesiapan teknologi, tetapi juga pada kualitas konten, kelengkapan layanan, keterlibatan komunitas, peran aktif staf, serta strategi promosi berkelanjutan. Dengan penguatan lima aspek tersebut, RIN Dataverse berpotensi menjadi pilar utama ekosistem riset nasional yang terbuka, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan.
