Abstract

Stunting is one of the problems being faced by Kotapari Village. The absence of an information system about stunting that is easily accessible to the public is one of the aspects that has slowed down the resolution of the stunting problem. To accelerate the resolution of the stunting problem, it is considered necessary to have an information system that can help the community easily and quickly. Methods of data collection is done by interviews and observation. In this study the system development method used is waterfall with the supporting software used are PHP and MySQL. Seeing the reality above, it is deemed necessary to build a website-based information system that is useful to facilitate Kotapari Village and the Community in working to resolve the stunting problem in Serdang Bedagai Regency. Apart from being able to provide stunting information to the community, this application also has a child health check menu related to child growth and a discussion menu that can be used by the community to communicate with Kotapari Village.

Abstract

This article explores the creation of a study program profile website using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). In higher education, there's a need to provide current and relevant information to prospective students, existing students, faculty, and the general public. A study program profile website serves as an effective means to fulfill this requirement. The design process outlined in this research includes conducting a needs analysis, designing the interface, choosing a suitable WordPress theme, developing features specific to the study program, and testing the website’s functionality. Utilizing WordPress as a content management platform allows for easy content management and updates without the need for advanced programming skills. The outcome of this research is a responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly study program profile website. Features include details about study programs, curriculum, faculty, facilities, and the latest news, along with a search function to help users find specific information quickly. Adopting the WordPress CMS not only enhances time and cost efficiency in website management but also offers flexibility in updating or modifying content, ensuring that the information remains current and relevant. In summary, the design of a study program profile website using WordPress CMS proves to be an effective approach for delivering timely and pertinent information to stakeholders in the academic sector. This research contributes to the field of information technology, particularly in leveraging CMS platforms for effective content management within higher education.

Abstract

Web-based learning media utilizes technology. This research aims to assess the feasibility of a web-based learning media for 1st grade elementary school mathematics lessons. The objective is to develop a website as a learning platform for 1st-grade elementary school students in mathematics. The type of research used is research and development, involving three stages: preliminary study, product development, and testing. In this digital era, the use of information technology in education is increasingly crucial, and developing a website as a learning tool can be an effective solution to enhance the quality of mathematics education at the elementary school level. The website is designed to provide interactive mathematics learning content aligned with the educational curriculum. The development process includes analyzing the learning needs of 1st-grade students in mathematics, designing website content and interface, developing the website according to predefined specifications, implementing the website in classroom learning, and evaluating its effectiveness as a learning tool. The study involves 1st-grade elementary school students as trial subjects to assess the impact of the website on their interest and understanding of mathematics. Data collected are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to measure the success rate and usability of the website in the context of mathematics learning.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem that can disrupt the learning process and mental development of students, including in Islamic boarding schools. Early detection of bullying is essential to creating a safe and conducive learning environment. This study aims to apply the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm to automatically detect bullying through video recordings in the environment of the SMK Skill Village Islamic School Business Boarding School. The method used involves collecting a video dataset representing various types of bullying behavior, labeling the data, and training an object detection model using the YOLOv5 algorithm. The developed system is capable of detecting and classifying bullying behavior in real- time with detection accuracy reaching [accuracy value if known]. The implementation of this system is expected to assist school authorities and boarding school administrators in monitoring, preventing, and addressing bullying incidents more quickly and effectively, while also serving as an initial step in leveraging artificial intelligence technology to create a safer and more comfortable educational environment.

Abstract

English vocabulary pronunciation is one of the important aspects that must be mastered by English learners. However, many people in Indonesia face difficulties in mastering basic vocabulary pronunciation, which can hinder their progress in the early stages of learning speaking and listening. Mistakes in pronunciation often cause ineffective communication, making the message difficult for the other person to understand. Even at the level of learners who have memorized many vocabularies and are able to have simple conversations, mispronunciation remains a significant obstacle and often hinders smooth communication. To address this challenge, this study aims to develop an application based on speech processing technology and Natural Language Processing (NLP) that is specifically designed to provide pronunciation correction for selected vocabulary. This application focuses on mastering the pronunciation of 500 basic vocabulary as a companion for learning speaking and listening at an early stage. This application does not only aim to memorize vocabulary, but also helps users learn to pronounce each word correctly. With this approach, users can get real-time corrective feedback for each vocabulary spoken, allowing them to correct mistakes directly and gradually improve their speaking ability. In addition, the application provides pronunciation analysis supported by speech processing technology to recognize and analyze user pronunciation errors, while NLP is used to provide relevant assessments and improvement suggestions automatically. The results of the study show that this application is effective in helping learners improve their pronunciation of basic vocabulary. By focusing on frequently used basic vocabulary, this application helps users improve their speaking skills more easily. This application is also a tool that supports independent learning for users, thereby increasing their confidence in speaking English. This study is expected to be a solution that supports more effective and affordable English learning, especially for beginners in Indonesia who want to start mastering speaking and listening with a stronger foundation.

Abstract

This research aims to address the issue of uneven bandwidth distribution in large organizational networks by implementing Quality of Service (QoS) using FIFO and the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) algorithm on Mikrotik routers. Uneven bandwidth distribution can disrupt productivity and operational efficiency. This study creates a fair and efficient traffic management system, allowing bandwidth allocation according to user needs. The methodology involves detailed configuration of Mikrotik RouterOS to optimize QoS with adjusted HTB settings. Testing was conducted using IPerf3 to measure bandwidth variations received by clients in different conditions, including scenarios with two and three active clients. The results indicate that the HTB method provides more stable and consistent bandwidth distribution compared to FIFO. In the two-active client scenario, the unused bandwidth by the third client is allocated to higher priority clients, demonstrating HTB's effectiveness in managing traffic priorities. This research is expected to enhance user satisfaction by providing a network that is both stable and responsive to the needs of various operational applications, and contribute significantly to the development of best practices for bandwidth management in complex organizational environments.
