Since the surge in the gig economy phenomenon, the employment relationship ecosystem in Indonesia has continued to change. This can be seen from the increasing number of e-commerce companies that were born and developed in Indonesia. Ironically, the speed of change cannot be matched by adequate regulation. So that some aspects of regulations regarding employment relations need to be updated so that workers who decide to work under e-commerce companies can be guaranteed their rights. This research is a type of normative research with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of the study show that from an Islamic perspective, workers who enter into work contracts with e-commerce companies are called Ju’alah contracts as stated in the fatwa of DSN-MUI No. 62/DSN-MUI/XII/2007 concerning the Ju’alah Agreement. Semenjak melonjaknya fenomena gig economy, ekosistem hubungan kerja di Indonesia terus mengalami perubahan. Hal tersebut bisa dilihat dari semakin banyaknya perusahan e-commerce yang lahir dan berkembang di Indonesia. Ironinya, kecepatan perubahan tersebut tidak mampu diimbangi dengan regulasi yang memadai. Sehingga beberapa aspek regulasi tentang hubungan kerja perlu diperbarui agar para pekerja yang memutuskan untuk bekerja di bawah perusahan e-commerce hak-haknya dapat terjamin. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach) dan pendekatan konsep (conceptual approach). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam prespektif Islam, para pekerja yang menjalin kontrak kerja dengan perusahaan e-commercedinamakan Akad Ju’alah seperti tercantum pada fatwa DSN-MUI No.62/DSN-MUI/XII/2007 Tentang Akad Ju’alah.
