This study aims to determine the effect of coaching-based academic supervision and work climate on the performance of junior high school teachers in Rayon 7 OKU Selatan. The problem in this study is motivated by the importance of improving the quality of teacher performance as one of the determining factors for the success of education in schools. Coaching-based academic supervision and a conducive work climate are thought to have a significant contribution in supporting the improvement of teacher professionalism and work effectiveness. The research method used is quantitative. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The sample in this study amounted to 60 teachers selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out through multiple linear regression tests, t tests, F tests, and determination coefficient tests (R²). The results of the study showed that partially, coaching-based academic supervision had a significant effect on teacher performance, indicated by a t-count value of 11.268> t table 2.001. Work climate also had a significant effect on teacher performance with a t-count value of 15.894> t table 2.001. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence on teacher performance with an Fcount value of 130.249 > Ftable 3.159. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.820 indicates that 82.0% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by coaching-based academic supervision and work climate, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside this study. The correlation coefficient of 0.906 indicates a very strong relationship between the independent and dependent variables. It is concluded that coaching-based academic supervision and work climate together have a positive and significant effect on the performance of junior high school teachers in Rayon 7 OKU Selatan.
