Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to find out the manifestation of economic independence within the community through the Z-Chicken program of Baznas in South Tangerang City. The program is considered as one of the efforts to enhance the welfare of the community. The research method employs a qualitative approach, involving the study of data and documents related to the Z-Chicken program of Baznas in South Tangerang City. Qualitative methods are deemed the most appropriate approach to gather information regarding the improvement of economic independence within the community through the Z-Chicken program of Baznas in South Tangerang City. The study of the Z-Chicken program in South Tangerang as an initiative to enhance the economic independence of the community reveals sustainable impacts, such as transforming beneficiaries into contributors. The presence of this empowerment program should be expanded in its reach. Furthermore, regular mentoring for beneficiaries who have gained from the Z-Chicken program in South Tangerang is essential for program evaluation and development. Keywords: Economic Independence, Z-Chicken Program, Baznas, Kota Tangerang Selatan, Mustahik, Muzakki. Abstrak. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mencari tahu wujud dari kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat melalui program Z-Chicken Baznas Kota Tangerang Selatan. Program tersebut merupakan salah satu upaya dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif, yaitu dengan cara mempelajari data dan dokumen yang berhubungan dengan Program Z-Chicken Baznas Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode kualitatif ini dianggap sebagai pendekatan yang paling tepat untuk menggali informasi mengenai peningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat melalui program Z-Chicken Baznas Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian program Z-Chicken Baznas Tangsel sebagai upaya peningkatan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat, ternyata dapat memberikan dampak yang berkesinambungan, salah satunya mengubah mustahik jadi muzakki. Keberadaan program pemberdayaan ini harus lebih diperluas jangkauannya. Dan adanya mentoring secara berkala terhadap mustahik yang telah menerima manfaat dari program Z-Chicken Baznas Tangsel sebagai bahan evaluasi dan pengembangan program. Kata Kunci: Kemandirian Ekonomi, Program Z-Chicken, Baznas Kota Tangsel, Mustahik, Muzakki.

Abstract

Justice constitutes a central principle in the Qur’anic worldview, shaping both ethical conduct and legal reasoning within Islamic thought. Increasing complexity of contemporary legal and social contexts has renewed scholarly interest in how Qur’anic justice can be understood and applied in modern Islamic legal systems. This study aims to examine the conceptual structure of justice in the Qur’an and analyze its application within classical and contemporary Islamic legal thought. A qualitative interpretive design was employed, integrating thematic exegesis of Qur’anic verses with comparative analysis of major Islamic legal schools and contemporary scholarship. Results indicate that Qur’anic justice is articulated through interconnected concepts such as ?adl, qis?, and m?z?n, reflecting moral, procedural, and systemic dimensions. Findings further reveal that Islamic legal traditions operationalize these principles through diverse methodologies, enabling both continuity and adaptability. Contemporary interpretations demonstrate increased emphasis on social justice, human rights, and contextual application. This study concludes that the Qur’anic conception of justice provides a comprehensive and flexible framework capable of guiding Islamic legal thought across different historical and social contexts.

Abstract

This study explores the evolving role of Qur’anic interpretation (tafsir) within the context of modernity and its significance for contemporary Islamic thought. Modern intellectual, social, and ethical transformations have generated new questions regarding the authority, methodology, and relevance of classical exegetical traditions, making tafsir a crucial site of engagement between revelation and changing realities. The objective of this research is to examine how tafsir functions as an intellectual mediator that enables Islamic thought to respond to modern epistemological and societal challenges while maintaining continuity with the Qur’anic tradition. The study employs a qualitative research design based on textual and interpretive analysis of selected classical and contemporary tafsir works that explicitly engage with modern issues. Hermeneutical and conceptual frameworks are used to analyze interpretive patterns, methodological orientations, and thematic emphases. The findings reveal that contemporary tafsir demonstrates significant methodological diversity, with a growing emphasis on contextualization, ethical reasoning, and thematic interpretation. The study concludes that tafsir plays a central role in negotiating the relationship between Islam and modernity, serving as a bridge between sacred text and contemporary thought.
