Abstract

In Society 5.0 Era, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and technology has significantly influenced various education. This study conducts a critical study of the potential of AI and technology as a substitute for teacher presence in teaching Al-Qur'an Hadith. This study aims to evaluate the consistency in scientific texts to maintain the authenticity of religious teachings. This research explores the possibility of utilizing AI, in providing interactive guidance for Al-Qur'an Hadith students. The strengths and limitations of AI are analyzed to understand the interpersonal aspects of the relationship between teachers and students. In addition, this study emphasizes the importance of maintaining the religious context inherent in the teachings of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. The role of AI in analyzing text content and verifying the credibility of information is discussed, while highlighting the importance of human expertise. This study uses a qualitative methodology, including a literature review, and case studies in the form of interviews from educators and scholars. The research findings aim to provide insight into the potential benefits and challenges of integrating AI and technology in the Al-Qur'an Hadith learning environment. In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of achieving a harmonious balance between the progress of AI-based education and the preservation of rich scientific traditions in the study of Al-Qur'an Hadith. This research advocates the use of AI as complementary tools under the guidance of knowledgeable human instructors, thus driving an efficient approach to religious education in the dynamic landscape of Society 5.0.

Abstract

Konsep hadanah dalam fiqh klasik berakar pada kewajiban pemeliharaan dan pengasuhan anak oleh ibu dalam fase awal kehidupan, namun memiliki keterbatasan dalam merespons kompleksitas realitas sosial kontemporer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ulang konsep hadanah dalam tradisi fiqh empat mazhab serta menilai relevansinya terhadap ketentuan dalam Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI) di Indonesia, khususnya dalam Pasal 105. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka dan analisis kualitatif berbasis maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya transformasi pemikiran hukum Islam yang lebih adaptif dan humanistik. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fiqh klasik, meskipun memiliki fondasi normatif yang kuat, belum sepenuhnya mempertimbangkan aspek psikologis, emosional, dan kesejahteraan anak secara holistik. Sementara itu, KHI memberikan langkah awal dalam reformasi hukum hadanah di Indonesia, namun masih bersifat rigid dan memerlukan pendekatan kontekstual dalam implementasinya. Oleh karena itu, rekonstruksi hukum hadanah harus diarahkan pada penguatan prinsip best interest of the child, integrasi nilai maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah seperti ḥifẓ al-nafs dan ḥifẓ al-nasl, serta penyusunan kebijakan hukum keluarga Islam yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan riil anak dan tantangan zaman modern. Kata Kunci: Hadanah, Fiqh Klasik, Kompilasi Hukum Islam.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the assertive communication skills of Islamic boarding school students (santri) as a strategic effort to build an anti-bullying culture in boarding school environments. The program was conducted at MTs and MA Arrahmah in Kediri Regency, involving 40 students residing in the dormitory. A Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed to integrate problem identification, collaborative planning, action implementation, reflection, and continuous evaluation. Data were collected through focus group discussions, participatory observation, reflection sheets, pre-test and post-test instruments, as well as documentation of simulations and role-play activities. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using qualitative methods, supported by comparative analysis of pre-test and post-test results. The findings showed that prior to the intervention, student interactions were dominated by non-assertive communication patterns, such as indirect expression, silence, and normalized verbal joking. After the training, participants demonstrated improved understanding of assertive communication, as indicated by an increase in the percentage of students categorized as “clearly assertive” from 15% to 50%. This improvement was accompanied by the development of collective awareness regarding the early prevention of bullying in the boarding school environment. Therefore, the program contributed to the sustainable strengthening of students’ social relationships.

Abstract

The shift in educational values in the digital era has added further strains between the traditional authoritarian pedagogy and the reflective and egalitarian nature of millennial learners. This research will explore the role of mahabbah pedagogy as an affective–relational process of negotiating this tension during character education in pesantren. The research contribution is that it conceptualizes mahabbah pedagogy as an affective-relational pedagogical framework and provide empirical evidence of its role in mediating the relationship between tradition and modernity in Islamic education. This research is a qualitative study that relies on an intrinsic case study design that is conducted at Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang. Purposive and snowball sampling methods were used to collect data by way of participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with kiai, ustaz, and santri, and documentation. Inductive data analysis was done using data reduction, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that mahabbah pedagogy is reflected in the affective relationships that are empathetic, emotionally close, and trustful, which create a dialogical and reflective learning environment. It acts as a relational process of cultural mediation and the mitigation of tensions between hierarchical traditions and egalitarian learner attributes. Moreover, it encourages transformative reflection by the methods of self-knowledge and internalization of values. The study presents three fundamental elements, namely, affective relationships, cultural mediation, and transformative reflection, that conglomerate to create the wholeness of character development of santri. Finally, mahabbah pedagogy presents a theoretically based and practically applicable model in the development of humanistic, adaptive and transformative education, and in providing a platform upon which future integration can be achieved within digitally mediated learning environments.
