Abstract

The comparison between the actual service received and the expectations of the desired service forms a very crucial concept of service quality. Service quality plays an important role in ensuring public satisfaction. This research aims to determine the impact of the quality of public services on the level of community satisfaction. The method applied in this research is literature review, literature review is used to collect and evaluate related research. Villages in Indonesia were selected as the research population. Based on a literature review covering 10 journals, it was found that there is a positive influence of public service quality on public satisfaction in Indonesia. The results of this literature review conclude that there is a significant relationship between the quality of public services and the level of public satisfaction with a significance level of ρ<0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and inflation rate on the purchasing power of the community in North Sumatra during the period 2012-2022. Data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of the Republic of Indonesia was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the EViews software. The results of the analysis show that GRDP and the inflation rate have a significant influence on the purchasing power of the community, with statistically significant regression coefficients. Autocorrelation, heteroskedasticity, and classical assumption tests indicate that the regression model used meets the criteria and can be considered valid. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for formulating appropriate economic policies to improve the welfare of the North Sumatra community in the future

Abstract

This study aims to identify leading sectors in Medan City using the Location Quotient (LQ) and Shift-Share Analysis (SSA) methods with Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data from 2019 to 2023. Medan City, as a strategic economic center in North Sumatra, plays an important role in trade, industry, and services. This study uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Medan City and North Sumatra to analyze economic sectors that contribute significantly to regional GRDP. Through the LQ method, this study successfully identified sectors that have higher competitive advantages compared to the national average, such as water supply, waste, construction, wholesale trade, transportation, accommodation, information and communication, and financial services.
