Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the odd semester final exam questions for class XI IPS SMAN 1 2X11 Kayutanam. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques using document analysis. The sample in this study was all of the final exam questions for the geography class XI IPS odd semester at SMAN 1 2X11 Kayutanam for the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of this study indicate that the number of Middle Order Thinking Skill (MOTS) questions is the number of questions that are tested the most, namely the percentage results are 60% where the category of questions is at the level of C2 (Understanding) and C3 (Applying), while the questions that are dominated next is Lower Order Thinking Skill (LOTS) with 10 questions out of 40 exam questions with a percentage of 25% in the C1 category (Considering) and the least tested is Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) with a presentation result of 15% which is in the C4 category (Analyze), C5 (Evaluate) and C6 (Create). At the Question Validity level, the results obtained from 40 questions there are 16 (valid) and 24 (invalid) questions; The level of reliability of the question shows a value of 0.63 which has a high reliability; Difficulty level there are 8 questions (very easy), 4 questions (easy), 18 questions (medium), 2 (difficult), 8 (very difficult); There are 5 items (negative), 16 (bad), 10 (enough), 2 (good), 5 (very good); The distractor level consists of 4 questions (very good), 14 (enough), 10 (poor), 8 (not good).
