Abstract

Child malnutrition remains a significant public health challenge in Indonesia, with anemia, protein-energy malnutrition (PEM), obesity, and stunting among the most frequent concerns. Stunting, a chronic form of undernutrition, particularly affects children in developing nations. This study, employing a literature review methodology guided by the PICO framework, identified six articles examining the influence of family care on stunting prevention. Similar to previous research, these studies strongly emphasize the critical role of families in successful stunting interventions. Notably, all articles highlight the family's multifaceted role, which encompasses tasks, responsibilities, relationships, and functions within the household unit. Addressing stunting necessitates a holistic approach, as its causes extend beyond purely health-related factors and are often intertwined with economic instability in developing countries.

Abstract

Early Breastfeeding Initiation is an Indonesian government program to reduce the infant mortality rate (IMR). IMR in Indonesia shows a figure of 32/1000 live births, which is still far below that of other ASEAN countries. This is thought to be due to various factors, namely the limited number of breastfeeding counselors in health service facilities and the lack of educational, advocacy, and campaign activities related to the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation. Apart from that, the availability of facilities and infrastructure for Maternal and Child Health This research aims to analyze the influence of the role of health workers on the success of implementing Early Breastfeeding Initiation in the maternity room at Sheikh Yusuf Gowa's house. This research used a descriptive observational research type with a survey method, where the author only wanted to describe nurses' knowledge about early breastfeeding initiation. The sampling method involved 33 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire technique. If the respondent answered correctly, the value is 1; if wrong, the value is 0. The research results showed that 33 people (100%) had good knowledge. This research shows that respondents with good knowledge have a great influence on Early Breastfeeding Initiation.

Abstract

Stroke is a clinical syndrome characterized by a sudden, rapidly progressive onset of focal and/or global neurological deficits, lasting 24 hours or more, or resulting in immediate death, solely caused by non-traumatic cerebral blood circulation disorders. This study employs a descriptive research design with data collection using a questionnaire. The sample consists of 30 respondents, anyone coincidentally encountered by the researcher can be used as a sample, considering those encountered coincidentally as a data source. The conclusion drawn from 30 respondents in the neurology outpatient clinic of RSUD Syekh Yusuf Gowa indicates that 4 individuals or 13.3% of respondents have good knowledge, 17 individuals or 56.7% have sufficient knowledge, and 9 individuals or 30.0% have insufficient knowledge. Therefore, the knowledge of patients regarding the implementation of Range of Motion (ROM) in patients with stroke needs improvement by relevant health authorities.
