Abstract

This was action research which aimed to describe the improving student beginning reading ability through word card game. Subjects in this research were teacher and the first grade studen of SDN Sungai Geringging. The data was collected by using observation sheet and and test. Result of this research showed that using word card game improved the student beginning reading ability. Kata kunci: membaca permulaan, permainan media kartu kata, siswa SD
