Abstract

This research begins from the reality at elementary school. Where the result of learning science is low, because this lesson stil convensional. This research is purpose to inprove the learning process so it can inprove the science result using contextual. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approach, which consists of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Source of data is the process of the implementation of the learning science by using contextual approach is 4th grade of elementary school 03 Koto Bangun Kapur IX with the subject is teachers and 4th grade students. The result showed that using contextual approach in science learning can inprove student learning result.   Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, pendekatan kontekstual, IPA, sekolah dasar
