Abstract

Every organization is required to make decisions in various forms to respond changes in circumstances and conditions so that organizational goals are achieved. Accuracy in making decisions will have an impact on organizational progress, especially for strategic decisions. Da'wah organizational strategic decisions are as important as other organizational strategic decisions. The Pesantren Udara 14.2690 MHz is a da’wah organization that preaches through amateur radio. In development there are several problems experienced internally and require organizational decisions, especially in the development of contemporary interpretation studies. This article aims to describe implementation of strategic decision making for the development of contemporary interpretation studies at the Pesantren Udara 14.2690 MHz. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data sourced from interviews, observations, and literature as support. The analysis process uses the theory of strategic decision making. The results: first, the strategic decision-making model is more appropriate for performing organizations, not start-up organizations, so adjustments are needed. Second, adjustments are needed in viewing the problems in the problem identification stage. Third, the development of alternative solutions/strategies doesn’t have to be linear or straight to the problem or negation of the problem, it needs to be adapted to the needs and conditions of the organization.

Abstract

Every organization is required to create strategies in various forms to respond to changes in internal and external situations and conditions so that organizational goals are achieved. SWOT analysis is a method often used by organizations to understand conditions and formulate strategies. SWOT analysis was born and developed to formulate macro and long-term oriented strategies. Meanwhile, da’wah organizations in carrying out their da’wah activities are often faced with specific, tactical and short-term problems among the people. This article aims to describe the process of applying SWOT analysis in formulating a short-term da'wah strategy based on the guardian pilgrimage activities by Pesantren Udara 14.2690 MHz. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data comes from interviews, observations and literature. The analysis process uses strategy formulation theory, especially SWOT analysis. Research results: First, in carrying out internal and external mapping, strategic factors are limited by the scope of strategic objectives and issues. Second, the SWOT identification process is carried out by evaluating conditions and testing each strategic factor by integrating the strategic factors. Third, in the matching process you don't really have to have straight pairs of internal and external pairs. Alternative strategies can emerge from several internal and external strategic factors. Fourth, strategy formulation in the form of specific technical solutions that are integrated between short-term strategies in the guardian pilgrimage activities of the Pesantren Udara 14.2690.

Abstract

Perumusan strategi dalam berbagai aspeknya dilakukan organisasi untuk menyikapi perubahan situasi dan kondisi agar tujuan tercapai. Aspek pendanaan merupakan aspek yang memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap berjalannya program organisasi, oleh karena itu strategi penggalangan dana dibuat dalam rangka menjaga stabilitas keuangan dan operasionalisasi program organisasi, khususnya organisasi nirlaba. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan analisis SWOT dalam perumusan strategi penggalangan dana pada Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Quran (LPQ) Miftahul Jannah Surabaya. Artikel ini juga sekaligus mendalami penggunaan analisis SWOT dalam perumusan strategi jangka pendek dalam kasus penggalangan dana. Pendekatan artikel ini kualitatif deskriptif. Data bersumber dari wawancara, observasi, dan pustaka. Proses analisis menggunakan teori perumusan strategi khususnya analisis SWOT jangka pendek dan teori fundraising. Hasil studi: Pertama, kedalaman strategi sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman bidang kerja. Strategi penggalangan dana LPQ Miftahul Jannah menggunakan direct dan indirect fundraising. Kedua, penggunaan analisis SWOT akan menghasilkan rekomendasi strategi yang masih umum, sehingga dibutuhkan bantuan framework strategi fundraising. Ketiga, ada dua model perumusan strategi jangka pendek yakni menggunakan analisis SWOT atau menggunakan framework bidang tanpa menggunakan analisis SWOT.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan dan mengoperasionalkan Bryson’s Strategic Planning Model dalam merancang strategi jangka pendek Yayasan Pendidikan Kinantan Surabaya (YPKS) periode 2025–2026 yang berada pada fase transisi kelembagaan. YPKS menghadapi sejumlah tantangan strategis, antara lain relokasi unit PAUD/TK, keterbatasan fasilitas fisik, stabilitas keuangan, serta kebutuhan pembangunan gedung permanen sebagai fondasi keberlanjutan layanan pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, melalui wawancara mendalam, analisis dokumen internal yayasan, dan observasi organisasi. Model Strategic Planning for Public and Nonprofit Organizations dari John M. Bryson digunakan sebagai kerangka analisis utama, khususnya pada tahapan identifikasi isu strategis, formulasi strategi jangka pendek, desain implementasi, dan rencana aksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan gedung yayasan dan PAUD/TK merupakan isu strategis utama yang bersifat struktural dan berdampak sistemik terhadap keberlanjutan organisasi. Strategi jangka pendek yang dirumuskan menempatkan pembangunan gedung sebagai strategi inti (core strategy) yang didukung oleh strategi konsolidasi tata kelola, stabilisasi keuangan, proteksi PPDB, serta penguatan mutu layanan. Rencana aksi disusun secara bertahap dalam horizon 12–18 bulan dengan penekanan pada kelayakan dan evaluasi berkala agar adaptif. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan strategi jangka pendek berbasis model Bryson relevan dan aplikatif untuk membantu yayasan pendidikan berskala kecil–menengah dalam mengelola transisi kelembagaan secara berkelanjutan.
