Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dan menganalisis perkembangan serta relevansi teori komunikasi digital dalam menjelaskan fenomena komunikasi yang terjadi pada era media sosial. Transformasi komunikasi yang dipicu oleh kemajuan teknologi digital telah mengubah secara mendasar cara individu berinteraksi, bertukar informasi, dan membangun makna sosial di ruang virtual. Dalam konteks ini, teori komunikasi digital menjadi kerangka konseptual penting untuk memahami dinamika komunikasi kontemporer yang bersifat interaktif, adaptif, dan dipengaruhi oleh algoritme. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah narrative review, dengan fokus pada perubahan paradigma komunikasi, adaptasi teori-teori klasik, serta kemunculan teori baru yang menitikberatkan pada interaktivitas digital, keterlibatan pengguna, dan peran media sosial sebagai agen komunikasi global. Kajian ini menelusuri berbagai literatur akademik terkini melalui pencarian sistematis pada basis data ilmiah terindeks, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola konseptual, dinamika teori, serta arah perkembangan teori komunikasi digital. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dan dibahas secara mendalam untuk mengungkap implikasi teoretis dan praktis terhadap pengembangan ilmu komunikasi, terutama dalam memahami pergeseran dari model komunikasi linear menuju paradigma partisipatif yang berbasis jaringan dan algoritme media sosial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya rekontekstualisasi teori komunikasi agar tetap relevan dan responsif terhadap karakter komunikasi modern yang bersifat dinamis, partisipatif, serta terpersonalisasi. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi studi lanjutan yang berfokus pada eksplorasi lebih mendalam mengenai interaktivitas digital, keterlibatan pengguna, serta dampak algoritmik terhadap proses komunikasi di era media baru. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing demonstrative learning and its contribution to enhancing students’ learning interest at the elementary school level. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research was conducted at an Indonesian public elementary school. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving the school principal, an Islamic Religious Education teacher, and third-grade students. The findings reveal that teachers play a crucial role as planners, facilitators, mentors, and motivators in demonstrative learning activities. The implementation of demonstrative learning enables students to engage directly in learning experiences, resulting in increased attention, participation, and enthusiasm during the learning process. Supporting factors include teachers’ pedagogical competence, school support, and students’ active involvement, while inhibiting factors consist of students’ lack of confidence and limited instructional time. These obstacles were addressed through adaptive teaching strategies and supportive classroom environments. The study concludes that demonstrative learning is an effective pedagogical approach for enhancing students’ learning interest in Islamic Religious Education when supported by teachers’ professional roles and contextual classroom management.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed Islamic communication practices, particularly in the context of da’wah. Traditionally conducted through physical platforms, da’wah has increasingly shifted toward digital media, creating new opportunities for interaction and community formation. This study aims to analyze da’wah communication strategies and their role in shaping Muslim communities in the digital era. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature-based design, involving the systematic review and conceptual analysis of scholarly works related to digital religion and communication. The findings reveal that effective digital da’wah communication is characterized by three main dimensions: message personalization, interactivity, and visual-symbolic representation. These strategies enhance audience engagement, foster emotional connection, and support the formation of collective identity within digital Muslim communities. Furthermore, social media functions not only as a communication channel but also as a dynamic social space where religious meanings and identities are constructed. The study concludes that communication strategies play a crucial role in determining the success of digital da’wah and community cohesion, offering both theoretical contributions to Islamic communication studies and practical implications for developing adaptive da’wah practices in contemporary digital society.
