Abstrak Sarana dan prasarana merujuk pada keseluruhan perangkat, baik yang secara langsung maupun tidak langsung menunjang kelancaran proses belajar mengajar. Keberadaan sarana dan prasarana berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan tempat penelitian di MTsN 6 Padang Alai. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi dengan Teknik analisis data berupa triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa sarana dan prasarana di MTsN 6 Padang Pariaman masih terbatas. Keterbatasan dalam sarana dan prasarana di sekolah cenderung menurunkan minat belajar siswa. Siswa kurang bersemangat dan tekun dalam melaksanakan tugas dalam proses pembelajaran. Fasilitas sekolah yang terbatas berdampak pada rendahnya minat belajar siswa untuk tetap produktif. Para guru di MTsN 6 Padang Pariaman banyak memberikan semangat kepada siswanya untuk terus belajar walaupun dengan alat seadanya. Peran guru sangat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan dan menumbuhkan serta menjaga minat belajar siswa. Abstract Facilities and infrastructure refer to all devices, both directly and indirectly, that support the smooth teaching and learning process. The existence of facilities and infrastructure influences students' interest in learning. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with the research location at MTsN 6 Padang Alai. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observations with data analysis techniques in the form of triangulation. The results of this research state that the facilities and infrastructure at MTsN 6 Padang Pariaman are still limited. Limitations in facilities and infrastructure in schools tend to reduce students' interest in learning. Students are less enthusiastic and diligent in carrying out tasks in the learning process. Limited school facilities have an impact on students' low interest in learning to remain productive. The teachers at MTsN 6 Padang Pariaman give lots of encouragement to their students to continue learning even with minimal equipment. It is hoped that the teacher's role can improve, grow and maintain students' interest in learning.
