This research develops website-based e-counseling media for students at the faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari. The problems in this research are: (1). What is the description of the need for developing website based e-counseling media for students of Faculty of the Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari?(2) What is the prototype of website-based e-counseling media for students at the faculty of Teacher Training Education, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari? (3) What is the validity and practicality of website- based e-counseling media for students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari? The aim of this research is to determine: (1) An overview of the need for developing website-based e-counseling media forstudents at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari (2) Prototype of website-based e-counseling media for students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari ( 3) validity and practicality of website-based e-counseling media for students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education,University of Muhammadiyah Kendari. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Borg and Gall development model modified by the re searcher. The subject of this research is the subject of needs analysis, the subject of validity testing and practicality questionnaire analysis. The types of data collection instruments used are needs analysis data, validity data and practicality data. The data analysis techniques used are needs questionnaire analysis, validity questionnaire analysis and practicality questionnaire analysis. The research results show that the website-based e-counseling media and guide books developed are valid and practical for use in implementing guidance and counseling services at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari, based on acceptability tests which include usability, feasibility and accuracy
