Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) Government to Government (G to G) process are faced with various challenges who work in South Korea through the South Korean, especially those related to work contract standards. PMI who are placed in workplaces in the manufacturing sector for E-9 visas and fishing for E-10 visas with a maximum work contract period of 4 years and 10 months during the first work contract period. PMI's standard work contract in South Korea through the Government to Government (G to G) program contains the rights and obligations of workers and employers. This research aims to provide an understanding of PMI's strategy in responding to employment contracts in South Korea. The subjects of this research were 48 Indonesian Migrant Workers in South Korea who had just worked in South Korea or who had worked by re-entry (entering work back into South Korea on a second contract). The type of data used is quantitative data, primary data collected through questionnaires with PMI who are working in South Korea, secondary data obtained through relevant literature studies. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that: 1) effective communication with other people, migrant workers need to have good interpersonal communication skills, both with colleagues and superiors, 2) the importance of migrant workers having knowledge about their rights, work regulations, working conditions in Korea South, 3) migrant workers need knowledge and skills to recognize and deal with discrimination by adapting according to local culture and work environment, 4) skills can include language, technical and social skills to improve job opportunities even better.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an educational game to be a medium for introducing dog breeds based on Android and developed using the Unity game engine with a quiz-themed game model. Game Development Life Cycle(GDLC) is used as the method of developing this game with stages: initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta and release. The final result of this research is an educational game entitled “Introduction to Dog Races” which can be played on Android devices. Based on the results of the user trial questionnaire on 13 respondents, 38,5% (5 people) stated “Agree”, 53,8% (7people) stated “Strongly Agree” that the respondents became more familiar with dog breeds after playing the educational game “Introduction to Dog Races” .

Abstract

 Abstract Mayana Mountain is an area which have several profit, such as ecological or economic aspects. And also as a habitat for several types of bird. The method of this research was used list of types of bird method (Mackinnon et al 2010). The types of bird which have found in Mayana Mountain Area were 31 types. The highest variety was community forest habitat, where have found 27 types and natural forest habitat was found 21 types. The value of  Index Shannon weiner was  average level, because the both of habitat have a grade as follow 1 <H' ≤ 3, where variety index of community forest habitat 2.94 and natural forest habitat 2.85. The level of species equality in the both of habitat was 17.0%, it belongs to low categories. To avoid the decrease of variety of protected species, especially for habitat of bird and for further research, increasing bird preversation intensively and sustainable.Pegunungan Mayana merupakan kawasan yang mempunyai banyak manfaat, baik dari segi ekologi maupun ekonomi. Dan juga sebagai habitat beberapa jenis burung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode daftar jenis burung (Mackinnon et al 2010). Jenis burung yang ditemukan di Kawasan Pegunungan Mayana sebanyak 31 jenis. Keanekaragaman tertinggi terdapat pada habitat hutan rakyat yang ditemukan sebanyak 27 tipe dan habitat hutan alam sebanyak 21 tipe. Nilai Indeks Shannon weiner tergolong rata-rata, karena kedua habitat tersebut mempunyai nilai 1 <H' ≤ 3, dimana indeks keanekaragaman habitat hutan rakyat 2,94 dan habitat hutan alam 2,85. Tingkat kesetaraan spesies pada kedua habitat tersebut sebesar 17,0%, termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Untuk menghindari berkurangnya keanekaragaman jenis satwa yang dilindungi khususnya untuk habitat burung dan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut, meningkatkan pelestarian burung secara intensif dan berkelanjutan.
