<![CDATA[AbstractThe emergence of local political elites has had a lot of influence on the process of managing natural, economic, social and political resources in Karangantu Serang Port, Banten. This group, which is commonly known as the local bok, has the power to regulate fishing business activities in the process of looking for fish to the selling process. This research seeks to see how the process of power relations created by local boss groups in managing marine resources to create a phenomenon of politicization of the sea in Karangantu Serang Port, Banten. This research was assisted by the theory of power relations by Faucoult and the theory of local bosses from Sidel, using the case study method to see this phenomenon directly and concretely, collecting data through observation and interviews which were written in the form of descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study show that the local boss groups use their social status, power and wealth to build a relationship with several fishermen groups in Karangantu, control and share fishing spots in the sea through the power relations they create with several fishermen groups, classifying themselves as group of investors for other fishermen, to create a cooperation that benefits them as a local boss group.Keywords: Power Relations, Local Politics, Maritime Politicization, Local Bosses AbstrakKemunculan elite politik lokal telah memberi banyak pengaruh pada proses berjalannya pengelolaan sumber daya alam, ekonomi, sosial dan politik di Pelabuhan Karangantu Serang, Banten. Kelompok yang biasa disebut dengan sapaan bos lokal ini memiliki kekuasaan yang mengatur akivitas bisnis nelayan dalam proses mencari ikan hingga proses penjualan. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk melihat bagaimana proses berjalannya relasi kuasa yang diciptakan oleh kelompok bos lokal dalam mengelola sumber daya laut hingga menciptakan sebuah fenomena politisasi laut di Pelabuhan Karangantu Serang, Banten. Penelitian ini dibantu dengan teori relasi kuasa oleh Faucoult dan teori bos lokal dari Sidel, menggunakan metode studi kasus untuk melihat fenomena tersebut secara langsung dan nyata, mengumpulkan data melalui proses observasi dan wawancara yang ditulis dalam bentuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelompok bos lokal menggunakan status social, power, dan kekayaan mereka untuk membangun sebuah relasi dengan beberapa kelompok nelayan di Karangantu, menguasai dan membagi spot tangkap ikan di laut melalui relasi kuasa yang mereka ciptakan dengan beberapa kelompok nelayan, mengklasifikasikan diri mereka sebagai kelompok pemodal bagi nelayan lain, untuk menciptakan sebuah kerjasama yang menguntungkan mereka sebagai kelompok bos lokal.Kata Kunci: Relasi kuasa, Politik Lokal, Politisasi Laut, Bos Lokal]]>
