Abstract

The aim of this article is to explore the concept of acultur­ation of value and culture for education on Islamic Boarding School. This article would discuss about the value and culture that are not contradicted to Islamic teaching for eduacation in Islamic Boarding School. And then, how the impact of them can develop the process of teaching and learning in the classroom activities without losing the prinsciples of teaching. In order to know about several beneficial performance of teaching and learning in Islamic Boarding School, this article using the book syarh ta’limul muta’allim as its references. This article will be concluded with an argument that aculturate values and cul­tures can increase the character of nation-state espicially in education.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to explore the concept of leadership and organizational culture on Islamic Boarding School. This article would also discuss about the relationship between leadership and organizational culture in Islamic Boarding School and also how the impact of them can develop commitment and satisfaction of personnel in that organization. In order to know about several beneficial performance of organization, this article aim of influence leadership and organizational culture in Islamic Boarding School on performance of organization. This article will be concluded with an argument that gaining deeper insight on the theoretical base of leadership in relation to organizational culture can be a valuable paradigm for the organization. The design used in this study is qualitative research with library research. The data collections are gathered from three steps, are: (1) orientation; (2) exploration; and (3) study focused. The result of this study shows that despite the relation between leadership and organizational culture, however gaining deeper theoretical insight into leadership is still an important objective, especially to be related to the performance of organization.  Keywords: leadership, organizational culture, islamic boarding school

Abstract

The research analyzes the typology of the planning of the educational curriculum in three Islamic boarding schools, namely Sidogiri Pasuruan, Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo, and Al-Amin Prenduan Sumenep. This field research used a qualitative method and a case study to analyze the characteristics of the planning of the educational curriculum in three Islamic boarding schools mentioned, which were the objects of investigation. This research was conducted between April 2015 and May 2015. The collection data methods were interviews, observations, and documentation study, while the data analysis used was a cross-case analysis of three Islamic boarding schools mentioned.
