Abstract

ABSTRACT Evaluation of teacher performance at Al-Hikmah Kebalen Kindergarten (TK) aims to improve the quality of education at the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) level. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach to evaluate how teachers plan, implement, and assess learning at TK Al-Hikmah Kebalen. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a teacher, exploring their experiences, challenges, and strategies in supporting children's development. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of three main stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The main findings indicate that although teachers have a good understanding of the Independent Curriculum, there are challenges related to facilities, limited resources, and the use of technology in learning and evaluation. Teacher work discipline has also been shown to influence learning success. Evaluation of teacher performance at Al-Hikmah Kebalen Kindergarten covers cognitive, social, emotional, and physical aspects of children, but further development in terms of facilities and teacher training is needed to improve the quality of learning. This study provides recommendations for improving learning facilities and regular training for teachers to improve the quality of teaching and evaluation of learning outcomes effectively. ABSTRAK Evaluasi kinerja guru di Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) Al-Hikmah Kebalen bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana guru merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran di TK Al-Hikmah Kebalen. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan salah satu guru, yang menggali pengalaman, tantangan, dan strategi dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang anak-anak. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan model Miles dan Huberman, melalui tiga tahapan utama: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa meskipun guru memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai Kurikulum Merdeka, terdapat tantangan terkait fasilitas, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan evaluasi. Disiplin kerja guru juga terbukti berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran. Evaluasi kinerja guru di TK Al-Hikmah Kebalen mencakup aspek kognitif, sosial, emosional, dan fisik anak, namun pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam hal fasilitas dan pelatihan guru diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk peningkatan fasilitas pembelajaran dan pelatihan berkala bagi guru guna meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran secara efektif.
