<![CDATA[AbstractGambling is essentially an act that is contrary to religious norms, morality,decency and legal norms. The crime of gambling is regulated in articles 303 of theCriminal Code and 303 bis of the Criminal Code concerning gambling, based on datafrom the Banyumas State Court Case Tracking Information System, there has been adevelopment in gambling cases in the last three years (2021-2023). This legalresearch aims to find out the perspective of social control theory on the practice oftogel gambling in Banyumas Regency and countermeasures by Banyumas Police. Theresearch method used is normative juridical and empirical with a statutory approach(statue approach) by examining laws and regulations related to the research topicand a conceptual approach, namely an approach by combining practical concepts tobe used as a point of view. The results show that in the perspective of social controltheory, the factors that cause the criminal act of togel gambling in the BanyumasRegency Area are economic factors, the environment, religion, family, andtechnological developments. Efforts to prevent and overcome the crime of togelgambling have also been carried out by the Banyumas Police through preventive andrepressive efforts.Keywords: Togel Gambling, Social Control Theory, Legal RemediesAbstrakPerjudian pada hakikatnya adalah perbuatan yang bertentangan dengan normaagama, moralitas, kesusilaan maupun norma hukum. Tindak pidana perjudiandiatur dalam pasal 303 KUHP dan 303 bis KUHP tentang perjudian, berdasarkandata pada Sistem Informasi Penelusuran Perkara Pengadilan Negri Banyumasterjadi perkembangan kasus perjudian dalam kurun waktu tiga tahun terakhir(2021-2023). Penelitian hukum ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prespektif teorikontrol sosial terhadap praktik judi togel di Kabupaten Banyumas dan upayapenanggulangan oleh Polresta Banyumas. Metode penelitian yang digunakanadalah normatif yuridis dan empiris dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan(statue approach) dengan menelaah peraturan-peraturan perundangan yangberkaitan dengan topik penelitian dan pendekatan konseptual (conceptualapproach) yaitu pendekatan dengan menggabungkan konsep-konsep praktis untukdijadikan sudut pandang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam prespektifteori kontrol sosial faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya tindak pidana juditogel di Wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas yaitu faktor ekonomi, lingkungan, agama,keluarga, dan perkembangan teknologi.
