Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas V di SDN Kalinusu 03 melalui penerapan inovatif model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan siklus berulang. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SDN Kalinusu 03. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam motivasi belajar matematika siswa setelah menerapkan model TPS. Penerapan model ini mendorong interaksi siswa, meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran, dan merangsang diskusi aktif antar siswa. Selain itu, siswa melaporkan peningkatan minat dan kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi pelajaran matematika. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan berdaya guna untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas V. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat dianggap sebagai inovasi yang sukses dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran matematika di tingkat SD. LEARNING INNOVATION: INCREASING MATHEMATICS LEARNING MOTIVATION OF GRADE V STUDENTS WITH THINK PAIR SHARE MODEL AT SDN KALINUSU 03 ABSTRACT This research aims to evaluate and increase the mathematics learning motivation of class V students at SDN Kalinusu 03 through the innovative application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model. The research method used is classroom action research with repeated cycles. The participants in this research were class V students at SDN Kalinusu 03. Data was collected through observation, interviews and analysis of test results. The research results showed a significant increase in students' mathematics learning motivation after implementing the TPS model. The application of this model encourages student interaction, increases their involvement in the learning process, and stimulates active discussions between students. In addition, students reported increased interest and confidence in facing mathematics lessons. These findings provide a positive contribution to the development of effective and effective learning strategies to increase fifth grade students' motivation to learn mathematics. Therefore, the Think Pair Share learning model can be considered a successful innovation in improving mathematics learning at the elementary school level.
