ABSTRAK Fenomena yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran ialah terdegradasinya karakter gotong royong dalam diri peserta didik dan kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik. Hal ini diakibatkan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat dan rasa egoisme yang tinggi sehingga menyebabkan tidak meratanya penyampaian aspirasi dalam suatu kelompok saat proses diskusi. Selain itu juga terdapat permasalahan terkait rendahnya pemahaman konsep materi yang ditandai dengan ketidaktuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dan hasil belajar pesesrta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan outdoor activity. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Tindakan kelas yang dilakukan di SMKS Al Hikmah 2 Sirampog. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas X yang terdiri dari 16 siswa pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Tekhnik pengumpulan data berupa instrumen angket,tes dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya tiga indikator penilaian yaitu berkolaborasi, peduli dan mampu berbagi Solusi dalam penyelesaian suatu permasalahan dengan presentasi peningkatan berkisar 80-89%. Hasil juga menunjukan terdapat peningkatan penguasaan konsep pada materi ekosistem sebesar 94% peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai maksimal sesuai KKTP yang telah disepakati yaitu 75. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem basen learning (PBL) sangatlah penting diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran karena mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kata kunci: IMPLEMENTATION OF PBL WITH AN OUTDOOR ACTIVITY APPROACH IN INCREASING MOTIVATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES OF CLASS X SCIENCE STUDENTS AT SMKS AL HIKMAH 2 SIRAMPOG ABSTRACT The phenomenon that occurs in the learning process is the degradation of the character of mutual cooperation in students and the lack of motivation to learn in students. This is due to rapid technological developments and a high sense of egoism, which causes uneven expression of aspirations within a group during the discussion process. Apart from that, there are also problems related to the low understanding of material concepts which is characterized by incomplete learning outcomes of students. This research aims to increase student learning motivation and student learning outcomes by using a problem based learning (PBL) learning model with an outdoor activity approach. This research is a type of classroom action research conducted at SMKS Al Hikmah 2 Sirampog. The research subject is class X consisting of 16 students in the 2023/2024 academic year. Technique of data collections are questionnaires, tests and observation sheets. The research results show that there has been an increase marked by an increase in three assessment indicators, namely collaborating, caring and being able to share solutions in resolving a problem with an increase in presentation ranging from 80-89%. The results also show that there is an increase in mastery of concepts in ecosystem material by 94% of students who get the maximum score according to the agreed KKTP, namely 75. So it can be concluded that the problem based learning (PBL) learning model is very important to apply in the learning process because it is able to increase learning motivation students and student learning outcomes.
