Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Taraban 02 disebabkan kurangnya keterlibatan siswa secara langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) melalui penggunaan alatbantu video pembelajaran dan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual learning (CTL). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran dan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual learning (CTL) kelas IV di SD Taraban 02. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa berjumlah 22 orang, sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari data kualitatif berupa data hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta data kuantitatif berupa data tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian siklus I diperoleh siswa yang tuntas secara individu sebanyak 8 siswa dari 22 siswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 36% dan daya serap klasikal sebesar 63%. Sedangkan hasil penelitian siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas secara individu sebanyak 18 siswa dari 22 orang siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 82% dengan daya serap klasikal sebesar 85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, pembelajaran menggunakan video pembelajaran tumbuhan dengan pendekatan contextual teacher Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Taraban 02. IMPROVING SCIENCE LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH A CONTEXTUAL APPROACH TO PLANT PARTS MATERIAL USING VIDEO MEDIA FOR CLASS IV STATE STATE TARABAN 02 ABSTRACT The low learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Taraban 02 are due to the lack of direct student involvement in the learning process. To overcome this problem, classroom action research (CAR) was carried out using video learning tools and using a contextual learning (CTL) approach. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by using learning videos and using a contextual learning (CTL) approach for class IV at SD Taraban 02. The research subjects were 22 students, the research data source was obtained from qualitative data in the form of data from observations of teacher activities and students as well as quantitative data in the form of test data on student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of research showed that 8 students out of 22 students completed individually with classical completeness of 36% and classical absorption of 63%. Meanwhile, the results of the second cycle of research experienced an increase with the number of students completing individually as many as 18 students out of 22 students who took part in learning with a classical completion percentage of 82% with a classical absorption capacity of 85%. Based on the results of this research, learning using plant learning videos with a contextual teacher learning (CTL) approach can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Taraban 02 . Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran dan menggunakan Model Discovery Learning kelas IV di SD Taraban 02. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa berjumlah 20 orang, sumber data penelitian diperoleh dari data kualitatif berupa data hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta data kuantitatif berupa data tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian siklus I diperoleh siswa yang tuntas secara individu sebanyak 3 siswa dari 10 siswa dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 30% dan daya serap klasikal sebesar 60%. Sedangkan hasil penelitian siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas secara individu sebanyak 9 siswa dari 10 orang siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90% dengan daya serap klasikal sebesar 85%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, pembelajaran menggunakan video pembelajaran Mengukur Luas berbantu benda konkrit menggunakan model Discovery Learning ( DL ) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Taraban 02.
