Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan penggunaan media gambar serta Kahoot Quiz terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi telling time dalam reading comprehension. Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan dengan melibatkan subjek penelitian dari kelas 7B di SMPN 3 Rancah. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar peserta didik setelah intervensi pembelajaran, dengan rata-rata nilai post-test yang lebih tinggi dari pre-test. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dengan media Kahoot Quiz memiliki dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dalam materi telling time dalam reading comprehension. THE APPLICATION OF THE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) LEARNING MODEL AND THE USE OF IMAGE MEDIA AND KAHOOT QUIZ TO STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN TELLING TIME MATERIAL IN READING COMPREHENSION ABSTRACT This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model and the use of image media and Kahoot Quiz on student learning outcomes on telling time material in reading comprehension. The quantitative descriptive research method was used by involving research subjects from grade 7B at SMPN 3 Rancah. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test, then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis showed a significant improvement in learners' learning outcomes after the learning intervention, with an average post-test score higher than the pre-test. The implications of these findings show that the application of the PBL learning model with Kahoot Quiz media has a positive impact on student learning outcomes in telling time material in reading comprehension.
