Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar masih berpusat pada guru sebagai pengajar dimana guru memberikan materi kepada siswa sehingga siswa hanya mendengarkan dan mencatat apa yang disampaikan oleh guru, adapun sumber belajar Matematika hanya buku paket mata pelajaran saja, dimana kegiatan pembelajaran Matematika kurang memberikan pengalaman belajar kepada siswa seperti melaksanakan proses pemecahan masalah yang berkaitan dengan sifat-sifat bangun datar. Pada kegiatan pembelajaran ini, guru masih belum menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Hal ini menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Jagapura 03 sebanyak 18 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 10 butir. Data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu dengan cara mencari rata-rata nilai siswa dan ketuntasan belajar. Adapun data siklus I menunjukan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar mencapai 72 ketuntasan belajar mencapai 77% dengan kriteria baik. Kemudian pada siklus II menunjukan rata- rata nilai hasil belajar mencapai 89 dan ketuntasan belajar 94% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Maka, dapat disimpulkan penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning sangat berpengaruh dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Jagapura 03. Adanya penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning yaitu siswa berperan aktif memecahkan berbagai masalah yang dihadapi, pengalaman langsung saat belajar, keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, pembelajaran bersifat konstruktivisme, peningkatkan daya ingat siswa dan pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa. THE INFLUENCE OF THE USE OF THE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES IN GRADE IV MATHEMATICS SUBJECTS AT SD NEGERI JAGAPURA 03 ABSTRACT Mathematics learning in elementary schools is still centered on the teacher as a teacher where the teacher provides material to students so that students only listen and take notes on what the teacher says, while the mathematics learning resources are only subject package books, where mathematics learning activities do not provide learning experiences to the students. students like carrying out problem solving processes related to the properties of flat shapes. In this learning activity, the teacher still does not use the right learning model. This causes low student learning outcomes. This research aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the problem based learning model. The research subjects were 27 class IV students at SD Negeri Jagapura 03. Data collection used a multiple choice test method with a total of 10 questions. Learning outcome data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques, namely by finding the average student scores and learning completeness. Meanwhile, cycle I data shows that the average learning outcome score reached 72, learning completeness reached 77% with good criteria. Then in cycle II it showed that the average learning outcome score reached 89 and learning completeness was 94% with very good criteria. So, it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model is very influential and can improve the Mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri Jagapura 03. The application of the problem based learning model means that students play an active role in solving various problems faced, direct experience when learning, involvement students are active in the learning process, learning is constructivist, improving student memory and student-centered learning.
