<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Hypertension, or better known as high blood pressure, is a chronic condition characterized by an increase in blood pressure on the walls of the arteries. This increase forces the heart to work harder in pumping blood throughout the body through the blood vessels. As a result, this can have an impact on blood flow and the health of the blood vessels themselves, which in turn can trigger degenerative diseases. In severe cases, hypertension can result in death (Noerinta, 2020). Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) shows that around 1.28 billion adults aged between 30 and 79 years worldwide suffer from hypertension. According to WHO, 46% of those with hypertension are unaware of their condition, while less than half (42%) are aware that they have the disease. Only about 1 in 5 adults (21%) can successfully control their blood pressure. It is estimated that the prevalence of hypertension, a non-communicable disease, will decrease by 33% between 2010 and 2030. Research Objective: To determine the effect of foot massage on reducing blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at Posbindu Gang Saat Rt 05 Rw 23 Kayuringin Village, Bekasi City in 2024. This research method adopts a quantitative approach with a correlational analytical research design arranged in a quasi-experimental plan. The method used is "Pre-Test and Post-Test. Based on the results of Bivariate Analysis with paired T-test with a sample size of 26 respondents (N=32), it was found that T-Count (4.265)> T-table (0.543) and the p.Value (0.023) <alpha value (0.05) which means that there is an effect of Foot Massage on Reducing Blood Pressure in the Elderly with Hypertension at Posbindu Gang Saat Rt 05 Rw 23, Kayuringin Village, Bekasi City. ABSTRAK Hipertensi, atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai tekanan darah tinggi, adalah suatu kondisi kronis yang ditandai oleh kenaikan tekanan darah pada dinding arteri. Kenaikan ini memaksa jantung untuk bekerja lebih keras dalam memompa darah ke seluruh tubuh melalui pembuluh darah. Akibatnya, hal ini dapat berdampak pada aliran darah dan kesehatan pembuluh darah itu sendiri, yang pada gilirannya dapat memicu terjadinya penyakit degeneratif. Dalam kasus yang parah, hipertensi dapat mengakibatkan kematian (Noerinta, 2020). Data dari Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 1,28 miliar orang dewasa berusia antara 30 hingga 79 tahun di seluruh dunia mengidap hipertensi. Menurut WHO, 46% dari mereka yang mengalami hipertensi tidak menyadari kondisinya, sementara kurang dari separuhnya (42%) menyadari bahwa mereka memiliki penyakit ini. Hanya sekitar 1 dari 5 orang dewasa (21%) yang berhasil mengontrol tekanan darahnya. Diperkirakan, prevalensi hipertensi sebuah penyakit tidak menular akan mengalami penurunan sebesar 33% antara tahun 2010 dan 2030. Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh foot massage terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada Lansia denganhipertensi di Posbindu Gang Saat Rt 05 Rw 23 Kelurahan Kayuringin Kota Bekasi Tahun 2024. Metode penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian analitik korelasional yang disusun dalam rencana eksperimen semu. Metode yang digunakan adalah "Pre-Test dan Post-Test. Berdasarkan hasil Analisis Bivariat dengan paired T-test dengan jumlah sampel 26 responden (N=32) didapatkan data bahwa T-Hitung (4,265) > T-tabel (0,543) dan nilai p.Valuenya (0,023) < nilai alpha (0,05) yang berarti ada pengaruh Foot Massage Terhadap Penurunan Tekanan Darah Pada Lansia Dengan Hipertensi di Posbindu Gang Saat Rt 05 Rw 23 Kelurahan Kayuringin Kota Bekasi.
