<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Gastroenteritis / GEA is an inflammation of the digestive tract (including the stomach and intestines) that is generally caused by viral or bacterial infections, and in less rare cases due to parasites and fungi. In the community, gastroenteritis is known as muntaber. To find out if there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of early treatment of gastroenteritis in the emergency department of the way laga health center in 2024.This study uses a kuatitative method with a cross sectional approach with the Chi-square test. With a total sampling technique that uses primary data obtained from filling out questionnaires to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about gastroenteritis management and the emergency department of the way laga health center in 2024.There is a relationship with the level of knowledge about handling gastroenteritis at the Way Laga 2024 Health Center.There is a population in this study of 42 respondents with a sample of 42 respoonents. Based on statistical analysis, it shows that the p-value of this study is 0.000.It is concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is a relationship of family knowledge to the initial treatment of gastroenteritis at the Way Laga Health Center in 2024 Keyword: Gastoeteritis, Knowledge, Treatment, Emergency Departement. ABSTRAK Gastroenteritis / GEA adalah peradangan pada saluran pencernaan (termasuk lambung dan usus) yang umumnya disebabkan karena infeksi virus atau bakteri, dan pada kasus yang lebih jarang karena parasit dan jamur. Di masyarakat gastroenteritis dikenal dengan istilah muntaber.Untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan penanganan awal gastroenteritis di unit gawat darurat pusekesmas way laga tahun 2024.Penlitian ini menggunkan metode kuatitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan uji Chi-square.Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling yang menggunakan data primer yang didapat dari pengisian kuesioner untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan penaganan gastroenteritis du unit gawat darurat pueskesmas way laga tahun 2024.Terdapat hubungan dengan tingkat pengetahuan penanganan gastroenteritis di puskesmas way laga 2024.Terdapat populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 42 responden dengan sampel sebnayak 42 respoonden.Berdasarkan analisi statistic menunjukan bahwa nilai p-value dari penelitian ini 0,000.Disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat hubungan pemgetahuan keluarga terhadap penanganan awal gastroenteritis di puskesmas way laga tahun 2024.
