Abstract

Writing skill become a hardest skill of all English skill. The students in any case do error especially in grammatical aspect. This case is supported by the structure of English language is different with Indonesian language, it makes student feel confuse and do an error in combining word to the sentence and to be paragraph. This study purpose to observe some grammatical error in students’ descriptive text of English department in Al Ihya Islamic University of Kuningan. Based on the observed here the researcher elaborate some data that conclude by the highest error is in mis ordering figure out of 46.15%, next is omission is 30.7%, and misformation is 15.38%, the last is addition is 7.69%.
