Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang: Perkembangan industrialisasi dan kemajuan teknologi di Indonesia yang meningkat secara signifikan berdampak pada pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat (Mumtaha & Khoiri, 2019). Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja berperan penting dalam industrialisasi karena mampu memberikan jaminan dan rasa aman di lingkungan kerja sehingga target produksi dapat dicapai secara maksimal. Salah satu masalah di lingkungan kerja yang sering terjadi, yaitu kebisingan dari suara mesin/peralatan yang melebihi Nilai Ambang Batas (NAB). Di sisi lain, kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia menyebabkan tumpukan limbah masker naik. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil: Dengan adanya dua permasalahan tersebut peneliti membuat sebuah inovasi berupa Eco Damper yaitu peredam suara dari limbah masker yang dirancang untuk menurunkan intensitas kebisingan di ruang produksi serta mengurangi limbah masker. Kesimpulan: Konsep rancang bangun Eco Damper ini diproyeksikan mampu menangani beberapa masalah pada perusahaan maupun lingkungan, diantaranya sebagai alat peredam kebisingan pada ruang produksi, mengurangi limbah baki telur, dan mengurangi limbah masker sekali pakai. Kata kunci: Baki telur, Kebisingan, Limbah masker, Peredam Abstract Background: The development of industrialization and technological progress in Indonesia which has increased significantly has an impact on meeting the needs of the community (Mumtaha & Khoiri, 2019). Occupational safety and health play an important role in industrialization because it is able to provide guarantees and a sense of security in the work environment so that production targets can be achieved optimally. One of the problems in the work environment that often occurs is noise from the sound of machines/equipment that exceeds the Threshold Limit Value (TLV). On the other hand, the Covid-19 case in Indonesia has caused piles of mask waste to increase. Methods: This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research with observation as a data collection technique. Results: With these two problems, researchers made an innovation in the form of an Eco Damper, namely a silencer from waste masks designed to reduce noise intensity in the production room and reduce mask waste. Conlusion: The Eco Damper design concept is projected to be able to handle several problems for the company and the environment, including as a noise reduction device in the production room, reducing egg tray waste and reducing disposable mask waste.
