Abstract

Along with the very high demand for concrete, therefore the use of dead-end aggregate as coarse aggregate and with the addition of additives for mixed concrete can be used like concrete in general, The aim of the research is to obtain normal concrete with a compressive strength F'c of 25 Mpa, determine the effect of varying Buntu Barana' aggregates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and with the addition of I-3 Betonmix additives on compressive strength, splitting tensile strength of concrete and determining the relationship between compressive and splitting tensile strength of concrete using Buntu Barana' aggregate with the addition of concrete mix. From the results of the study, it was obtained an analysis of the use of Buntu Barana' aggregate as coarse aggregate with the addition of mixed concrete additives to the compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete. In this study, the compressive strength with 25% of Buntu Barana' aggregate is 27.46 MPa; 50% yielded a compressive strength of 27.08 MPa; 75% yielded a compressive strength of 26.61 MPa; and 100% produces a compressive strength of 25.95 MPa. In the split tensile strength with 25% dead-end aggregate, it is 3.28 MPa; 50% of 3.21 Mpa; 75% of 3.18 MPa and 100% of 2.59 MPa. the equation of the relationship between the compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete with a value of R2 = 0.95375 and y = 0.9979 x0.34.

Abstract

In the current technological era, concrete is one of the most widely used building materials in the world, including in Indonesia, therefore good quality concrete will greatly support structural safety. Indonesia is also a developing country that has quite advanced industrial prospects. Buri River gravel material in Rembon Sub-district is still abundant. To utilize this material, in this study it will be used as a substitute for coarse aggregate. And the addition of coconut fiber as a fiber to support the compressive strength of the concrete, resisting the tensile force. This research is an experiment conducted at the Makassar Concrete Bosowa Laboratory. The substitution of the 'river buri' stamps to be used is 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. As for the use of added coconut coir, constant 4% of the weight of cement in each substitution. From the results of the study with the substitution of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% with the addition of 4% coconut husk, the results were 25.64 Mpa, 25.93 Mpa, 26.11 Mpa and 26.40 Mpa. And the split tensile strength produced is 2.59 Mpa, 2.97 Mpa, 3.11 Mpa, and 3.23 Mpa

Abstract

Soft clay has a relatively low subgrade bearing capacity and relatively large subgrade compression and lasts for a relatively long time so that it becomes a major problem in the development of transportation infrastructure. One of the efforts to improve soft clay soil is by adding bagasse ash and cement as a stabilizing agent on the soil. The research aims to determine the curing time on the value of unconfined compressive strength in clay soil after adding bagasse ash and cement, the permeability value of clay soil after adding bagasse ash and cement and the comparison value of unconfined compressive strength with curing time. This study used a variation of 0%,5%,10%,15% of palm bunch ash and cement by 5% of the dry weight of the soil. The test results of the free compressive strength value with a curing time of 0 days at 5% Cement + Sugar Bagasse Ash 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% there was an increase and decrease in the value of the free compressive strength (Qu), in this case the highest Qu was in the variation cement 5% and bagasse ash 10% with a curing time of 14 days an increase in cohesion value of 0.716. The permeability coefficient increases with the increase in the percentage of bagasse ash with a fixed percentage of cement. With an average increase in the coefficient of permeability of 0.0149.

Abstract

Tanah merupakan permukaan dasar yang utama bagi semua pekerjaan konstruksi. Tetapi tidak semua jenis tanah dapat digunakan sebagai bahan konstruksi. Apabila tanah tersebut tidak memenuhi persyaratan, maka tanah tersebut perlu distabilisasi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan bahan Garam Dapur (NaCl) dan Serbuk Kaca (SiO2) yang lolos saringan 200 sebagai bahan perbaikan tanah lempung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan garam dapur (NaCl) terhadap kuat geser dan kuat tekan bebas pada tanah lempung yang dicampur dengan pecahan limbah serbuk kaca (SiO2) dengan kadar tertentu yaitu 0%, 3%, 9%, 15% pada pengujian kuat geser yang dilakukan dengan penambahan garam dapur 10% ditambah serbuk kaca 0%, 3%, 9%, dan 15% diperoleh nilai cohesi 0,5170, 0,6971, 0,4123, dan 0,3373, sedangkan nilai sudut geser diperoleh nilai 27,34, 34,88, 22,41, 18,64, adapun nilai kuat geser diperoleh nilai 1,5079, 2,0332, 1,2025, dann 0,9838.sedangkan pada pengujian kuat tekan diperoleh nilai qiu rata 0,324, 0,378, 0,268, dan 0,253.

Abstract

Soil is the most widely used material in the construction of a construction. The development of buildings is currently experiencing a very rapid increase so that the carrying capacity of the soil must be considered but not all the carrying capacity of the soil meets the requirements, such as the carrying capacity of clay soils whose soil types are very fine grained so that the layers of the soil are very soft and cohesive. The soil needs to be stabilized. In this study, gypsum and white cement were used to stabilize the waste. This study aims to determine the value of the free compressive strength of silty clay stabilized with 2% gypsum and varied with white cement to determine the appropriate material composition to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. The percentage of stabilizing material used in this study was 2% gypsum respectively, then varied with white cement: 4%, 8%, 12%. The results of the free compressive strength study obtained the maximum value at the composition of the mixture of 2% gypsum + 8% white cement. that is equal to 0.959 kg/cm²..

Abstract

Hot Rolled Sheet (HRS) According to the Ministry of Public Works (Bina Marga revision 2010), a thin layer of asphalt concrete (lataston) is a cover layer consisting of a mixture of gap graded aggregate, filler and hard asphalt with a certain ratio; which is mixed and hot compacted (within a certain temperature, a minimum of 124ºC). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in immersion time on the properties and characteristics of asphalt with Styrofoam added. This study used Styrofoam food waste with the addition of 5%, 10%, and 20%. Samples of specimens were made as many as 48 samples, 15 normal samples and 27 variations samples, 6 samples of remaining KAO. Treatment of the specimens was carried out with repeated immersion variations of 3, 7, and 14 days. The manufacture of test objects is hot mixed and refers to the 2018 Bina Marga Specifications, the test is carried out with the Marshall test equipment. The results of this test, indicate that the effect of Styrofoam waste as an additive in the HRS type asphalt mixture with repeated immersion can decrease the value of density, stability, MQ, and VFB. Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effect of a mixture of palm bunch ash and variations of fly ash on the CBR value of clay soil and to determine the effect of a mixture of palm bunch ash and variations of fly ash on the permeability of clay soil. One of the efforts to improve soft clay soil is by adding palm bunch ash as a stabilizing agent on the soil. This study uses a variation of ash of palm bunches as much as 7.5% and fly ash of 0%, 15%, 30%, 45% of dry soil weight. The result of CBR penetration of Original Soil is 6.9% and for the addition of 7.5% Palm Oil Bunches + 0% Fly Ash decreased by 4.8%, however the CBR value increases with the addition of Fly Ash percentage, 15% Fly Ash + 7.5% Palm Oil Bunches the CBR value is 5.3% , Fly Ash 30% + Oil Palm Bunches 7.5% CBR value of 5.8% and with the addition of Fly Ash 45% + Oil Palm Bunches 7.5% an increase in CBR value of 6.1%, while the results of the Permeability Coefficient of Original Soil are 0.000888 and for Original Soil with the added material of 7.5% Palm Bunches and 0% Fly Ash of 0.0013 with a difference of 0.000412, while the addition of fly ash variations for the variation of 7.5% Palm Bunches + 15% Fly Ash the permeability value of 0.0007 decreased permeability

Abstract

Avalanche handling on the bts road section. Maros City – bts. Kab. Bone needs to review the value of the safe factor of the handling method applied.  This study aims to quantitatively examine the influence of geotextiles and retaining walls on the magnitude of the value of the safe factor on a slope.  This analysis uses data from the results of avalanche handling work on KM.89+995-90+045 and KM.90+395-90+405. In this study, 2 methods were used, namely the Fellenius method and the Plaxis program method. The results of this study show that the amount of safe factor values from the handling methods used at KM.89+995-90+045 and KM.90+395-90+405 locations is 2.71 and 2.27 obtained from the results of data processing using the Plaxis program, while using the Fellenius method the safe factor values are 2.70 and 1.66. Thus each safe factor value obtained is greater than the established safe factor value ( Fs > 1.5).
