Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran aktif tipe Group to Group Exchange (GGE) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran aktif tipe Group to Group Exchange (GGE) motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Kuasi Eksperimen dengan jenis Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1. Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran aktif tipe Group to Group Exchange (GGE) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa di kelas VIII di SMP Swasta Ira Medan pada Tahun 2023-2024, dengan t-hitung (3,452)>t-tabel (2,002); 2. Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran aktif tipe Group to Group Exchange (GGE) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Swasta Ira Medan pada Tahun 2023-2024, dengan t-hitung (2,033)> t-tabel (2,002). ABSTRACT  This research was conducted to find out whether there is an influence of the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) type active learning model on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts, and to find out whether there is an influence of the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) type active learning model on students' learning motivation. This research is a quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental research design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The results of the research show that: 1. There is an influence of the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) type active learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students in class VIII at Ira Medan Private Middle School in 2023-2024, with t-count (3.452)>t- table (2.002); 2. There is an influence of the Group to Group Exchange (GGE) type active learning model on the learning motivation of class VIII students at Ira Medan Private Middle School in 2023-2024, with t-count (2.033) > t-table (2.002).
