Abstract

The rapid economic and industrial expansion has led to increased global corporate competitiveness, forcing organizations to constantly improve their effectiveness and sustainability. Total Quality Management (TQM) is recognized as a process that enhances individual and organizational performance, competitive advantage, and customer satisfaction. The company struggles to meet targets, resulting in delays. Untrained innovation causes the issue by risking decreased productivity, inefficiencies, poor work quality, decreased productivity, and decreased job satisfaction. Hence, this study aims to identify the influence of soft TQM on Employee Job Satisfaction (EJS) and Employee Performance (EP) at PT XYZ Company. To gather quantitative data for this study, questionnaires with the Likert Scale were distributed to employees of PT XYZ Company across all sub-holdings. This research uses SEM-PLS (outer and inner model) to analyze the variables using SmartPLS 4. The result found that the soft TQM variables positively and significantly influenced EJS and EP respectively. Additionally, the EJS has a positive and significant effect on EP. Furthermore, soft TQM has a positively significant relationship toward EP with EJS as a moderating variable.
