Abstract

Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is a widely used method in investment analysis to assess the feasibility and potential returns on a project. IRR is the discount rate at which the net present value (NPV) of all cash flows generated by the project becomes zero. Students of Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Jember can analyze whether a project is profitable or not with the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) analysis. This community service activity begins with observation and coordination, the next steps in sequence are the preparation of materials and tools, guidance and counseling on IRR, Simulation of IRR Application, and Evaluation of the success of the program is carried out by giving a pretest-posttest. After all the activities were carried out, a reassessment was carried out. The average score obtained was 83.75. This value increased very significantly when compared to before the implementation of the activity the average was 13.75. The implementation of this community service activity has successfully completed all the steps of the service. The evaluation results showed that all participants who took part in the training had improved their abilities with an average score of 70.

Abstract

AbstrakSPSS merupakan perangkat penting untuk pengolahan data. Saat ini siswa SMK 2 Jember juga dihadapkan pada kegiatan kegiatan pengolahan data sebagai tugas yang diberikan oleh guru. Oleh karna itu pelatihan SPSS merupakan kegiatan yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa SMK tersebut. Pengabdian masyarakat melalui pelatihan penerapan aplikasi SPSS di SMK 2 Jember telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam analisis data statistik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan, sementara hasil evaluasi prates dan pascates menegaskan peningkatan pemahaman mereka terkait SPSS. Kata kunci: analisis data; SMK 2 Jember; SPSS; statistik Abstract SPSS is an important tool for data processing. Currently, students at SMK 2 Jember are also faced with data processing activities as a task given by the teacher. Therefore, SPSS training is an activity that is really needed by vocational school students. Community service through training in implementing the SPSS application at SMK 2 Jember has had a positive impact on increasing students' understanding and skills in statistical data analysis. The evaluation results show significant improvements both qualitatively and quantitatively. Students showed enthusiasm and active participation during the activities, while the results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations confirmed their increased understanding regarding SPSS. Keywords: data analysis; SMK 2 Jember; SPSS; statistics
