Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine how perennialism addresses the challenges posed by the transition of moral education in the contemporary day, characterized by numerous instances of moral decline. This study employs a qualitative descriptive methodology, utilizing a literature review as the primary research technique. Perennialism posits ideas on the necessity for humans to acclimate and modify their behavior in response to shifts in the world. Character education, with the perennialism theory, focuses on how individuals conform to the inherent good principles inside themselves. Perennialism in character education emerged as a response to and remedy for the cultural turmoil in contemporary society. The concept of perennialism advocates for a return to the past by reinstating the enduring values and ideals that were deeply ingrained in ancient societies. Character education is a means to attain a reversion to the fundamental values and principles of life. To ensure the preservation of Indonesian identity in future generations, The Perennialism ideology is a viable option that should be implemented in character education. The findings of this research are anticipated to have a substantial impact on the formulation of enduring character education strategies, aimed at cultivating a generation that possesses not only academic proficiency but also a firm grounding in the esteemed principles of the nation and the teachings of Islam

Abstract

Abstract  This research aims to produce of blog-based media development in learning anecdote text writing with X class replication. The research method used is the research development method which is ASSURE development design. Data analysis is using problem test, instrument and questionnaire. The results of media development research stated that blog-based learning media developed is appropriate. The results of development research show 1) The feasibility of developing a blog media learning design, the results of material expert validation for learning materials based on blogs of 98 are in excellent qualifications. The results of validation of educational practitioners for media and blog-based learning materials of 99 are in excellent qualifications. The results of validation of media learning experts for blog-based learning media of 100 are in excellent qualifications; 2) The feasibility of the media of the learning blog by the teacher shows that at the time of the limited trial of the material aspect and presentation showed a negative response with the frequency of the total percentage of 75%, increasing to 100% during trial after revision; 3) The effectiveness of learning both indicated by the completeness of the learning result of concept comprehension on anecdotal text writing material as well as writing skill is exceeded with value ≥75, student learning outcomes have exceeded KKM with 100% completeness percentage with mean score 83,4. The development of a learning blog media writing anecdotal text has the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that the development of blog-based learning media as a medium in learning can be studied independently to overcome one of the teaching problems. Keywords: writing lesson, media blog, anecdotal text Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media berbasis blog dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot dengan replikasi kelas X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dengan pembelajaran model ASSURE. Analisis data menggunakan tes soal, instrumen dan angket. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis blog yang dikembangkan sudah sesuai. Hasil penelitian pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa (1) kelayakan pengembangan desain pembelajaran media blog, hasil validasi ahli materi untuk materi pembelajaran berbasis blog sebesar 98 berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil validasi praktisi pendidikan untuk media dan materi pembelajaran berbasis blog sebesar 99 berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil validasi ahli media pembelajaran untuk media pembelajaran berbasis blog sebesar 100 berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik; (2) kelayakan media blog pembelajaran oleh guru menunjukkan bahwa pada saat ujicoba terbatas aspek materi dan penyajian menunjukkan respon negatif dengan frekuensi persentase total 75%, meningkat menjadi 100% saat ujicoba lapangan setelah revisi; (3) keefektifan pembelajaran baik yang diindikasikan oleh ketuntasan hasil belajar pemahaman konsep pada materi menulis teks anekdot maupun keterampilan menulis terlampaui dengan nilai ≥75, hasil belajar siswa telah melampaui KKM dengan persentase ketuntasan 100% dengan nilai rata-rata 83,4. Pengembangan media blog pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot memiliki kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan kategori baik. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis blog sebagai media penyampai pesan dalam pembelajaran dapat dipelajari secara mandiri untuk mengatasi salah satu permasalahan mengajar. Kata kunci: pembelajaran menulis, media blog, teks anekdot
