Abstract

The research objective was to reveal the Empowerment of the Psisir Fishermen Community in Leato Village in 2015-2020. In 2015 a single fish, tuna and deho processing factory was built in the village of Leato, but in 2019-2020 the factory was used only for freezing milkfish and shrimp. data from South Leato Village, the number of fishermen in South Leato is 442 people from 4 neighborhoods, and there are also those who work in other jobs such as employees, honorarium teachers, self-employment and other jobs. Even an employee before he started his job, he had time to work as a fisherman, this job has become a side livelihood. The condition of the houses in South Leato Village, especially the houses of the fishermen who are there, is quite good.

Abstract

The purpose of the investigation is to see the types of tourism activities on the Botutonuo beach, see the perceptions of the community around Botutonuo beach tourism activities, and see the surrounding community towards Botutonuo beach tourism activities. The methods used in this research are descriptive and qualitative methods, namely research that describes research that describes and considers the suitability of land for coastal tourism in the recreation category, swimming activities and the carrying capacity of the coastal recreation category area. The coastal area is a transitional area or movement between the marine environment and land, this area has a large population concentration with a unique, vital ecosystem, there are many industries and economic activities connected by land and sea based on the six cities / districts in Gorontalo province, Bone Bolango Regency has the potential for a very good coastal tourism area. to be developed, one of which is Botutonuo beach tourism.
