Abstract

Based on the results of interviews with accounting teachers, there is a problem where when the school sends its students to accounting competitions outside of school, the students often experience difficulty in answering questions, especially in calculating single interest and compound interest contained in debt material. This is because students at SMA Providentia have never been taught about debt at school. For this reason, we from the PKM Team will provide a solution to this problem by providing training on liability accounting. Training is carried out over five meetings in extracurricular subjects with a duration of 60 minutes per meeting, once a week. The training participants were 6 class XII students majoring in Social Sciences. PKM is carried out using lecture methods, discussions, discussing practice questions and giving quizzes as feedback. The conclusions from this training are: the school is quite cooperative in providing the infrastructure needed for PKM activities, students are quite enthusiastic and have good interactions in taking part in the training, the results of the quiz given show that after the training is given, students can understand the material well debt given, and based on the answers to the questionnaire, all training participants gave a satisfactory general impression of this training. The two outputs produced in this PKM are publications in the Serina Abdimas Journal as mandatory outputs and HKI in the form of Patents as additional outputs.

Abstract

Based on interviews with the school, students at Harapan Jaya High School have a problem where they only get very limited accounting material. The topic of order accounting systems was chosen because this topic is very relevant to the rise of order-based businesses that are easily found in society. Training is provided using lecture methods, discussions, discussing practice questions and giving quizzes as feedback. The results of this training are as follows. First, the training participants are class XI-1 students with a total of 22 participants. Second, training will be held on Friday, 20 October 2023 at 10.00-12.00 am onsite. Third, the school is quite cooperative in providing the facilities needed for this training. Fourth, students are quite enthusiastic and have good interactions in participating in the training. Fifth, there are significant differences in results in the pre-test and post-test. Finally, based on the evaluation results, 90% of the total respondents gave a satisfactory general impression of this training. There are two outputs that will be produced, namely: mandatory output in the form of scientific publications in ISSN journals and additional output in the form of HKI

Abstract

This training participants were attended by class XII students of SMA Harapan Jaya which is located at Jalan Daan Mogot Km.13 Cengkareng Timur, West Jakarta, with a total of 17 students. The training was held on Friday, March 1 2024 at 10.00-12.00 a.m using explanation and discussion method. The school contributes in providing training participants, facilities and infrastructure needed for the training activities. Participants were quite enthusiastic and had good interactions in participating in the training. There are significant differences in results in the pre-test and post-test. Before the training was given, students did not understand the cost-volume-profit analysis. However, after being given an explanation and retested with a post-test, they were able to understand and work on the questions given with satisfactory results. Based on the answers to the questionnaire distributed, as many as 82.23% of respondents stated that they were satisfied with the training provided. The advice given by respondents was that they wanted to receive similar training again, either on the same topic or on a different topic. This PKM activity has several limitations. First, the students who took part in this training only came from class XII Science. Second, the time given is limited. Suggestions for future training are twofold. First, provide training on the same topic to class XII IPS students. Second, extend the training time. There are two outputs that will be produced: scientific publications in ISSN journals and HKI ABSTRAK Mitra PKM adalah SMA Harapan Jaya yang beralamat di Jalan Daan Mogot Km.13 Cengkareng Timur, Jakarta Barat. Peserta pelatihan dihadiri oleh peserta didik kelas XII dengan jumlah peserta 17 siswa. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 01 Maret 2024 pukul 10.00-12.00 pagi menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi secara onsite. Pihak sekolah berkontribusi dalam hal penyediaan peserta pelatihan, sarana dan prasarana yang dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan PKM. Peserta cukup antusias dan mempunyai interaksi yang baik dalam mengikuti pelatihan. Ada perbedaan hasil yang signifikan dalam pre-test dan post-test. Sebelum pelatihan diberikan, peserta didik belum mengerti tentang sistem akuntansi pesanan. Namun, setelah diberikan penjelasan dan diuji ulang dengan post-test, mereka dapat memahami dan mengerjakan soal yang diberikan dengan hasil yang memuaskan. Berdasarkan jawaban atas kuesioner yang disebarkan, sebanyak 82,23% responden menyatakan puas dengan pelatihan yang diberikan. Saran yang diberikan responden adalah mereka ingin mendapatkan kembali pelatihan-pelatihan yang sejenis baik dengan topik yang sama maupun dengan topik yang berbeda. Kegiatan PKM ini mempunyai beberapa keterbatasan. Pertama, peserta didik yang mengikuti pelatihan ini hanya berasal dari kelas XII IPA. Kedua, waktu yang diberikan terbatas. Saran untuk pelatihan mendatang ada dua. Pertama, memberikan pelatihan dengan topik yang sama kepada peserta didik kelas XII IPS. Kedua, mengusulkan agar Mitra dapat menyediakan pelatihan dalam dua sesi pelajaran sehingga pemaparan materi dapat lebih mendalam. Ada dua luaran yang akan dihasilkan, yaitu: luaran wajib berupa Publikasi ilmiah pada jurnal ber ISSN dan luaran tambahan berupa HKI. berupa karya yang dapat dicatatkan sebagai HKI.
