Abstract

In labor there will be injury to the perineum either because of spontaneous tear or episiotomy. In Indonesia, perineal wound is experienced by 75% of mothers giving birth to vaginal. Perineal wound is the rupture of the perineum at the time the fetus is born. Unlike the episiotomy, this tear is traumatic because the perineum is not strong enough to withstand strain when the fetus passes (Siswosudarmo, Ova Emilia, 2012). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of pineapple juice and honey on perineal wound healing on post partum mothers in BPM Ny. Arifin, SST Surabaya. This research is a pre experimental research with quasi experimental research design. The population in this study were all post partum mothers with a total sample of 32 people divided into two groups, 16 as treatment group and 16 people as control group. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection using observation sheet and data analysis using chi-square test. The results showed in the treatment group after pineapple and honey juice, most of the perineal wound healed (87.5%). Result of analysis of test of chi-square that is on treatment group p = 0.003 (p<α=0,05). The conclusion of this research is the effect of pineapple and honey juice on perineal wound healing on post partum mother in BPM Ny. Arifin, SST Surabaya. It is expected that post partum mothers to consume foods with balanced nutrition, especially foods that contain lots of protein and vitamins to accelerate the healing of perineal wound.

Abstract

Nausea and vomiting or in medical language called emesis gravidarum or morning sickness is a state of nausea sometimes accompanied by vomiting (frequency less than 5 times). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving ginger drink (zingiber officinale rose) and pandanus leaf (pandanus) to the emission reduction of trimester pregnant women I. This research is pre experimental research with design of one group pre test post test. Population in this research is first trimester pregnant woman with 10 respondents. The study was conducted for 7 days.  Sampling technique by purposive sampling. Data collection using observation sheet and data analysis using wilcoxon test. The results showed Frequency of emesis gravidarum before giving of ginger and pandanus leaves mostly with emesis gravidarum frequency 5 times (60%) and a small part of the emesis gravidarum frequency 3 times (10%). Frequency of emesis gravidarum after giving of ginger and pandanus leaves all pregnant women do not experience emesis gravidarum. Wilcoxon test results P = 0.004 (P <0.05). The conclusion of this research is the influence of the giving of ginger and pandan leaves to the decrease of Emesis Gravidarum in First Trimester in Work Area of ​​BPM Hj. Nina Nuraenayatin, SST., M.Pd Surabaya. It is hoped for midwives to provide accurate motivation and information on pregnant women about emesis gravidarum and how to reduce emesis during pregnancy.

Abstract

Hasil survei World Health Organization (WHO) pada tahun 2013enunjukkan lebih dari 80 % wanita usia subur mengalami dysmenorrhea ketika haid, dan 67,2 % nya terjadi pada kelompok umur 13 – 21 tahun. Cara mengatasi nyeri haid dengan mengkonsumsi bahan herbal seperti minuman kunyit asam. Minuman kunyit asam mengandung curcumin, minyak atsiri, anthocyanin dan tanin yang dapat menurunkan tingkat nyeri. Peneliti bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pemberian minuman kunyit asam terhadap penurunan tingkat nyeri menstruasi (dysmenorrhea) primer pada remaja putri di MTS. Nurul Hikmah Kota Surabaya Tahun 2018. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pre test post test. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 26 reponden didapatkan dengan metode purposive sampling. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pemberian minuman kunyit asam terhadap penurunan tingkat nyeri menstruasi (dysmenorrhea) menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat nyeri menstruasi sebelum diberikan minuman kunyit asam yaitu sebesar 3.50, sedangkan rata-rata tingkat nyeri menstruasi sesudah diberikan minuman kunyit asam yaitu sebesar 1.46. Hasil analisis p-value 0.000 < 0,05 dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian minuman kunyit asam terhadap penurunan tingkat nyeri menstruasi (dysmenorrhea) pada remaja putri di MTS. Nurul Hikmah kota Surabaya tahun 2018. Peneliti harapkan bagi remaja putri untuk mengkonsumsi minuman kunyit asam pada saat dysmenorrhea sebagai salah satu obat tradisionalang dapat menurunkan nyeri menstruasi, disamping itu efek samping yang mungkin terjadi sangat minimal.
