Abstract

Literasi merupakan kemampuan membaca, menulis, memahami, menganalisis, dan menginterpretasikan informasi secara kritis. Sedangkan Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan menghasilkan ide-ide baru dan solusi inovatif dalam berbagai situasi kehidupan. Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang di Kota Palangka Raya berupaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dasar, khususnya dalam literasi dan kreativitas anak-anak. Salah satu metode yang digunakan adalah Tes Wartegg yang telah terbukti efektif dalam mengeksplorasi potensi kreativitas individu. Tes ini melibatkan pengisian serangkaian gambar yang belum selesai, yang kemudian diinterpretasikan untuk mengungkap aspek-aspek kreatif dan kepribadian anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan literasi berpikir kreatif anak-anak di SD Kelurahan Tanjung Pinang menggunakan Tes Wartegg. Metode ini berfokus pada proses berpikir kreatif yang digunakan siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas tersebut, membantu mengidentifikasi potensi tersembunyi dan memberikan arahan yang tepat bagi pengembangan kemampuan mereka. Penelitian ini melibatkan beberapa tahap: persiapan kegiatan, pelaksanaan tes, observasi, analisis dan interpretasi data, feedback dan tindak lanjut, serta evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak-anak, termasuk peningkatan imajinasi, berpikir kritis, dan ekspresi ide secara kreatif. Selain itu, anak-anak juga menunjukkan perkembangan dalam kemampuan menghadapi dan menyelesaikan soal-soal Tes Wartegg, peningkatan kepercayaan diri, serta pengembangan keterampilan motorik halus dan kemampuan konsentrasi.

Abstract

Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan ini adalah dalam rangka Pengabdian Masyarakat Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Stimulus (PKMS) ditujukan untuk Jamaah Masjid Mujahidin kota Palangka Raya. Judul kegiatan ini adalah Upaya Menumbuhkan Nılaı-Nılaı Spırıtualıtas Melaluı Kıtab Syu’ab Al Iman Karya Imam Al-Baıhaqı. Proses ini merupakan upaya yang efektif untuk memberikan sebuah bimbingan dalam mengajarkan pokok-pokok keimanan kepada jamaah masjid Mujahidin kota Palangka Raya dengan menggunakan kitab kumpulan hadits-hadits sebagai solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi jamaah dalam mengajarkan bentuk-bentuk serta cabang-cabang iman yang implementatif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kitab Syuabul iman adalah kitab yang tentang cabang-cabang keimanan berisi 77 (tujuh puluh tujuh) cabang keimanan. Kitab Syu’ab Al Iman (Syu'abul Iman) jika diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah “cabang-cabang iman”. Oleh karena itu, kebaikan kitab tersebut dibawa oleh peneliti dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sebagai upaya maksimal sebagaimana bimbingan cabang-cabang keimanan tersebut dapat menjadi pengetahuan sekaligus dasar dalam perbuatan yang benar berdasarkan apa yang diajarkan Rasulallah SAW. Kegiatan ini dilaksakan pada Jamaah Masjid Mujahidin Palangka Raya berupa bimbingan spiritual pada jamaah masjid Mujahidin Kota Palangka Raya.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in learning motivation of students at State Elementary School 1 Kuala Pembuang II which has experienced very significant changes. This research is very rational because it uses a research method of five steps/development phases including; Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluations. Data collection techniques in research use test instruments. Data analysis uses quantitative. Learning media is a tool that is considered good in helping convey information, whether in the form of pictures, videos or readings packaged in PowerPoint form so that it can increase student learning motivation in any subject, especially Natural Sciences, to students at Kuala Pembuang II Elementary School. Analysis of the use of PowerPoint as a medium can be seen in two tables of research results which show that students are more happy, enthusiastic, and motivated to focus more on receiving information in Natural Sciences lessons.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk perintah agama Islam terhadap umatnya yang memeluk agama ini memahami dan mengerti tentang pokok-pokok ajaran islam agar denganya seorang muslim dapat menjalankan agama ini dengan baik dan benar. Oleh karena itu, perlu sebuah kegiatan yang dapat memberikan penmahaman tersebut sehingga pada akhirnya muslim yang baik dapat menjalankan segala perintah tersebut dengan sebaik-baiknya berdasarkan dalil-dalil yang shahih. Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan ini adalah dalam rangka Pengabdian Masyarakat Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Stimulus (PKMS) ditujukan untuk Jamaah Masjid Mujahidin kota Palangka Raya. Judul kegiatan ini adalah Bımbıngan Kelompok Berbasıs Ajaran Utama Keıslaman Dalam Kıtab Maa Laa Yasa'u Muslimu Jahluhu. Kitab Maa Laa Yasa'u Muslimu Jahluhu yang secara harfiah dapat diterjemahkan dengan Hal-hal yang judul “Tidak Boleh Tidak Diketahui Seorang Muslim" atau "Ilmu yang Wajib Diketahui Seorang Muslim. Kıtab ini berisi pokok-pokok ajaran Islam yang berkaitan dengan akidah, ibadah, muamalah dan akhlaq. Kewajiban bagi seorang muslim dengan segala konsekwensinya mendorong peneliti untuk menginternalisasikan ajaran-ajaran kitab tersebut dalam kegiatan bimbingan spiritual terhadap jamaah masjid mujahidin. Peneliti meyakini bahwa kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini sebagai upaya maksimal yang peneliti dedikasikan agar tercapai satu tujuan bahwa seorang muslim yang baik wajib mengetahui dan mengamalkan berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan agama Islam. Pengetahuan itu adalah berkaitan dengan beberapa hal pokok yang perlu dipelajari, dipahami yang kemudian menjadi dasar untuk implementasi dalam keberagaman pada kehidupannya yang meliputi akidah (keimanan), ibadah, akhlak, dan muamalah (hubungan sesama manusia dan lingkungan) dengan Al-Quran dan Sunnah sebagai dasar dan pedoman beragama.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of peer guidance services in enhancing self-confidence among adolescents. The service was delivered to 9th-grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya as part of a psychosocial intervention. This research employed a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 12 students selected using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a validated and reliable self-confidence scale. The findings revealed an increase in mean scores from pre-test to post-test. The Wilcoxon test using SPSS 25 resulted in a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05), indicating that peer guidance is effective in increasing students' self-confidence. Thus, peer counseling can serve as a strategic alternative to support adolescents' psychological development in schools.

Abstract

Background: Mental readiness is a crucial aspect that determines students’ success in facing the transition from the academic world to the industrial workforce. Differences in social and economic backgrounds, including scholarship status, have the potential to influence students’ mental readiness in responding to the demands of the world of work. Aim: This study aims to analyze the level of students’ mental readiness in facing the industrial world based on scholarship status. Method: The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive-comparative design. The research subjects consisted of active university students grouped into scholarship recipients and non-scholarship recipients. Data were collected using a mental readiness questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of frequencies and percentages. Result and Discussions: The results show that the majority of students fall into the high mental readiness category; however, non-scholarship students demonstrate a higher proportion of high mental readiness compared to scholarship recipients. Conversely, scholarship recipients show a relatively higher proportion of low mental readiness. These findings indicate differences in mental readiness based on scholarship status. Conclusion: The study concludes that scholarship status is associated with variations in students’ mental readiness to face the industrial world. Therefore, strengthening career guidance and counseling services is recommended to enhance students’ mental readiness, particularly for scholarship recipients.

Abstract

Background: The transformation of modern industry requires students to be mentally prepared for the workforce; therefore, educational institutions must ensure that character development and psychological resilience are integral components of the learning process. Aim: This study aims to analyze the level of students' mental readiness in facing the industrial world, compare differences in readiness based on regional background, and examine the contribution of character education to the reinforcement of work Readiness. Method: The research employed a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach with a sample of students from urban and rural backgrounds. The measurement instrument used a mental readiness scale encompassing dimensions of self-confidence, resilience, emotional regulation, and adaptability. Results and Discussion: The results indicate that the majority of students fall into the high mental readiness category, with a higher proportion of urban students than rural students. These findings are consistent with the literature, which suggests that differences in access to education, exposure to technology, and social experiences influence individuals' psychological readiness. Conclusions: The study concludes that character education plays a significant role in shaping mental readiness and can be integrated into higher education, industrial guidance, and counseling programs. This research recommends developing character-based counseling interventions and industry practice experiences to strengthen students' readiness to enter the professional world.

Abstract

Background: The increasingly complex development of the industrial world requires university graduates to possess strong mental readiness and well-internalized character. The gap between academic competence and psychological readiness remains a critical issue in higher education. Aim: This study aims to analyze the effect of character education on students’ mental readiness in facing the industrial world when viewed from economic status. Method: This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational design. Data were collected through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to 200 active university students. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistical analysis and correlation testing. Result and Discussions: The results indicate that the majority of students fall into the high mental readiness category, while levels of character education are predominantly in the moderate to high categories. The discussion of the findings suggests a positive relationship between character education and mental readiness, particularly among students with middle and high economic status. Conclusion: This study concludes that character education plays a significant role in building students’ mental readiness. Recommendations are aimed at strengthening context-based, character-based learning designs and advancing intervention-based research.

Abstract

Background: The workforce's cultural diversity is a social reality increasingly prominent in the industrial world and has direct implications for the need for guidance and counseling services. Aim: This study analyzes the characteristics of the workforce's cultural background and their implications for the development of adaptive, multicultural industrial guidance and counseling services. Method: The research uses a descriptive, quantitative approach with labor subjects from various ethnic backgrounds. Data were collected through demographic questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics to illustrate the distribution of respondents' cultural characteristics. Results and Discussion: The results showed a dominance of local culture alongside the diversity of minority cultural groups, which affected work values, career orientation, and the need for counseling services. The discussion revealed that industry guidance and counseling need to integrate local cultural values while implementing a multicultural approach to make services more inclusive and contextual. The study's conclusions confirm that the effectiveness of industry guidance and counseling is largely determined by counselors' cultural sensitivity and multicultural competence. Conclusion: This study recommends developing a guidance and industry counseling model grounded in local context and cultural diversity, and conducting follow-up research with a more comprehensive design.

Abstract

Background: Socioeconomic conditions are contextual factors that shape the selection of career plans, especially for prospective workers in developing regions such as Central Kalimantan. Aim: This study aims to describe the economic conditions of the respondents and to analyze their implications for career choice in the context of Industrial Guidance and Counseling. Method: The research uses a quantitative, descriptive design. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed descriptively using frequency and percentage distributions. Results and Discussions: The results of the study showed that the economic condition of the respondents was dominated by the medium economic category, followed by the medium, low, and high economic categories. These findings indicate that the majority of respondents are in a transition phase towards economic independence, which affects the direction and realism of their career plans. The discussion of the results confirmed that economic conditions do not stand alone, but interact with psychosocial factors and the industrial environment. Conclusion: The study emphasizes the importance of industrial guidance and counseling in helping individuals develop adaptive, sustainable career plans. Therefore, it is recommended to develop industrial Guidance and counseling services based on socioeconomic conditions to support the selection of a fair career plan.
