<![CDATA[Abstract This study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the faculty performance evaluation instrument in the Mathematics Department of Universitas Negeri Medan. The validity test was conducted using product-moment correlation analysis, while reliability was tested using the Cronbach's Alpha method. The study involved 33 randomly selected final-year students as the sample. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 20 items covering various aspects of faculty performance, such as teaching methods, material delivery, and interaction with students. The results showed that all items were valid, with the calculated r-value exceeding the critical r-value. Furthermore, the reliability test yielded a Cronbach's Alpha score of 0.940, indicating that the instrument is highly reliable. Therefore, this instrument can be effectively used to comprehensively assess faculty performance. Keywords: Validity, Reliability, Cronbach’s Alpha, Fakulty Performance Evaluation, Questionnaire Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen evaluasi kinerja dosen di Jurusan Matematika Universitas Negeri Medan. Uji validitas dilakukan melalui analisis korelasi product moment, sementara reliabilitas diuji dengan metode Cronbach's Alpha. Penelitian melibatkan 33 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang dipilih secara acak sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan 20 item pertanyaan yang mencakup berbagai aspek kinerja dosen, seperti metode pengajaran, penyampaian materi, dan interaksi dengan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item pertanyaan valid, dengan nilai rhitung lebih besar daripada rtabel. Selain itu, uji reliabilitas memberikan hasil Cronbach's Alpha sebesar 0,940, menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tersebut sangat reliabel. Dengan demikian, instrumen ini dapat digunakan secara efektif untuk menilai kinerja dosen secara menyeluruh.
