Abstract

Background : Obesity is a disorder or disease characterized by excessive accumulation of fatty tissue in the body. Obesity occurs because of an imbalance between incoming and outgoing energy. Obesity / overweight has become a global pandemic worldwide and is declared by the World Health Organization as the biggest chronic health problem. Blood glucose levels in normal conditions tend to increase slightly, but after reaching the age of 50 years, the increase is progressive, especially for people who do not do physical Activity Normal blood glucose levels are between 70-110 mg/dl after fasting for 8 hour and 2 hour after eating, the blood glucose level should be below 200 mg/dl. Blood glucose levels increase after eating because there is a supply of glucose from the food consumed. Purpose Of The Study : To determine the relationship between body mass index and postprandial blood sugar levels. Research Methods : This types of research is research using the literature method. Result : From several research articles that explain that there is a relationship between body mass index and postprandial blood sugar levels.

Abstract

Background: Adherence to taking medication is a behavior that must be followed by outpatient schizophrenia patients to minimize relapse. But unfortunately, many sufferers do not regularly take medication, one of which is due to lack of support from their family and environment for themselves, as well as because of the side effects of drugs for sufferers. Method : This type of research is a study using the literature method or (literaure review). Result : The resultshowed that there was a relationship between family support and relaps in schizophrenicpatients in terms of taking medication. Conclusion: From 15 research journals, there are 13 journals that have a relationship between family support and relapse of schizophrenic patients. There are 9 journals that have a relationship between medication adherence and relapse of schizophrenic patients.

Abstract

Background : Cancer is the number one cause of death in the world. Of the 10.9 million people diagnosed with cancer worldwide each year, about 50% require radiotherapy. The use of radiotherapy is still not widely used and is still limited in Indonesia. Due to the pandemic, patients are anxious about COVID-19 infection, so there are some patients who delay treatment to the hospital because the hospital is considered a place with a high transmission rate. The correlation between radiotherapy patient anxiety towards COVID-19 infection with radiotherapy patient visits during the COVID-19 pandemic at Vina Estetica General Hospital. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between radiotherapy patient anxiety and COVID-19 infection with radiotherapy patient visits during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Vina Estetica General Hospital. Research Methods: The type of research that used in this study is analytical research. The analytical research approach uses a cross sectional study approach, where the observations of the variables are only for a moment and one observation during the study. The research was done at RSU Vina Estetica Medan with a minimum sample size of 44 people. Results: The results showed that the majority of patients had a mild level of anxiety about COVID-19, which was 70.45% of the total patients or 31 people. A total of 8 (18.18%) patients had moderate anxiety, 3 (6.82%) had severe anxiety, and 2 patients (4.55%) did not feel anxious. The majority of the patients (93.18%) did not delay the radiotherapy visit. Only 3 people (6.82%) were found to delay radiotherapy visits. Conclusion: There is no correlation between the anxiety level of radiotherapy patients and the number of visits

Abstract

Background: Suicide is a serious public health problem and is currently in the global spotlight. Alcohol as a psychoactive substance can affect a person's behavior, emotions, cognition, perception, and awareness so that it becomes one of the risk factors for suicide. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between alcohol intoxication and suicide. Method: The method used is a literature review by analyzing related journals. The journal sources used are PubMed, Google Schoolar, and science direct. Result: Based on a literature search, 8 relevant journals were found where there is correlations between alcohol intoxication and suicide. Conclusion: Alcohol intoxication can affect suicide. The act of suicide is not only caused by one factor, many other interrelated factors can trigger suicide.
