Abstract

Background. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)-based investments are increasingly becoming a major concern in global investment decisions. Investors are starting to consider sustainability factors as an important aspect in assessing the risks and opportunities of a company. Changes in regulations and increased awareness of environmental and social issues have prompted companies to adopt ESG standards to increase their investment attractiveness. Purpose. The study aims to analyze the extent to which ESG influences global investor decisions and how certain ESG factors contribute to increased investor confidence. The main focus of the research is to identify the most significant ESG elements in attracting investment as well as measuring their impact on a company's access to funding. Method. The research method uses a quantitative approach with regression analysis of ESG data from 50 global companies. Data sources are obtained from financial and ESG statements published by companies as well as secondary data from ESG rating agencies. The analysis was conducted to identify the relationship between the ESG score and the amount of investment a company obtained. Results. The results of the study show that companies with high ESG scores get greater investment than companies with low ESG scores. ESG report transparency and compliance with sustainability regulations are key elements in increasing investor confidence. The renewable energy and green technology sectors are the sectors that benefit the most from this trend. Conclusion. The conclusion of this study confirms that ESG is not just a sustainability strategy, but has become a key factor in global investment attractiveness. Companies looking to improve access to funding need to strengthen their ESG policies by increasing transparency and compliance with sustainability regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to describe parental parenting styles and their relationship with the development of religious and moral values in children aged 5–6 years in a Raudhatul Athfal Group B setting. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed with 15 children and their parents as respondents. Data were collected through observation, parenting style questionnaires, and documentation. The independent variable was parental parenting style (authoritarian, democratic, permissive), while the dependent variable was the development of religious and moral values measured across three indicators: politeness, habituation of worship practices, and accuracy in imitating prayer movements. The findings show two dominant parenting styles democratic (60%) and authoritarian (40%). Increases in developmental categories were observed across the three indicators between the first and second observations, with the most notable improvements occurring among children raised with democratic parenting (e.g., 67% achieving the “Very Well Developed” category for politeness; 56% for worship habituation; and 56% for prayer movement accuracy). Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant negative relationship between parenting style and the development of religious moral values (r = –0.636; p = 0.011), indicating that more democratic parenting is associated with better outcomes compared to authoritarian parenting. The study concludes that democratic parenting characterized by balanced rules, modeling, and open communication more effectively supports the development of politeness, worship routines, and accurate prayer movements in early childhood.

Abstract

Background. Public understanding and awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are essential for ensuring effective national implementation, promoting community participation, and strengthening shared responsibility for sustainable development. Indonesia, as one of the earliest adopters of the SDGs, continues to integrate the goals into national policies, local governance, and development programs. Despite these efforts, limited empirical research has examined the extent of public awareness, perceived relevance, and engagement with the SDGs across the Indonesian population. A national survey is therefore needed to assess public perception and identify gaps in knowledge that may hinder broader societal support for sustainability initiatives. Purpose. This study aims to evaluate the level of public awareness, understanding, and attitudes toward the SDGs in Indonesia by analyzing demographic influences, information sources, and perceived national priorities. The research also seeks to identify barriers to SDG engagement and provide recommendations for enhancing public participation in sustainability initiatives. Method. A nationwide quantitative survey was conducted involving 1,462 respondents selected through stratified random sampling to represent Indonesia’s major demographic groups. Data were collected through structured online and offline questionnaires measuring awareness levels, perceived importance of SDGs, and individual behavioral commitments. Descriptive statistics, cross-tabulations, and regression analysis were used to examine patterns and predictors of SDG awareness. Results. Findings reveal that overall awareness of the SDGs is moderate, with substantial variation across age, education level, and urban–rural residence. Respondents identify climate action, poverty reduction, and quality education as the most relevant SDGs for Indonesia, while awareness of goals related to marine ecosystems and responsible consumption remains low. Regression results indicate that education level, media exposure, and civic engagement significantly predict SDG awareness. Conclusion. The study concludes that strengthening SDG literacy through public campaigns, educational integration, and community-based programs is essential for advancing sustainable development efforts in Indonesia.
