Abstract

AbstractCyber Literary Strategy In The Indonesian Literary Arena: Pierre Bourdieu’s Perspective.Digital technology makes cyber literature also has a role in the development of Indonesianliterary repertoire. This study uses qualitative research methods to find (1) cyber literaturestrategies in the Indonesian literary arena and (2) the legitimacy of the cyber literary arenain the Indonesian literary by using arena theory in Bourdieu's perspective and libraryresearch methods. The results of this study is (1) capital reconvention strategies andreproduction strategies are used to spread cyber literature and win the battle in theIndonesian literary arena; (2) cyber literature gets legitimacy it can develop and compete inthe Indonesian literary arena.Key words: cyber literature, strategy, legitimacy, arena, bourdieuAbstrakStrategi Sastra Cyber Pada Arena Kesusastraan Indonesia: Perspektif Pierre Bourdieu.Perkembangan teknologi digital menjadikan sastra cyber pun memiliki peran dalamperkembangan khasanah kesusastraan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodepenelitian kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk menemukan (1) strategi sastra cyber dalam arenakesusastraan Indonesia dan (2) legitimasi arena sastra cyber dalam arena kesusastraanIndonesia dengan menggunakan teori arena dalam perspektif Bourdieu dan metode penelitiankepustakaan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa (1) strategi rekonvensi modaldan strategi reproduksi digunakan untuk menyebarkan sastra cyber dan memenangkanpertarungan dalam arena kesusastraan Indonesia; (2) sastra cyber mendapat legitimasi dariberbagai pihak sehingga dapat berkembang dan bersaing dalam arena kesusastraan Indonesia.Kata-kata kunci: sastra cyber, stategi, legitimasi, arena, bourdieu

Abstract

This study aims to describe non-verbal semiotics and its relation to Roland Barthes' semiotics, namely connotation and denotation. This research with the object of the study of the music video "Azza" by Rhoma Irama uses qualitative research methods to find non-verbal semiotics contained in the object of study. The results of this study, namely in the music video "Azza" by Rhoma Irama, there are seven body signs, namely (a) signals; (b) facial expressions; (c) eye contact; (d) body language; (e) touch; (f) cue; and (g) dance. It is also related to Roland Bathes' semiotics. Signs expressed in the music video have connotative and denotative meanings that the singer wants to convey through his music and videos. The connotative meaning in the music video "Azza", sung by Rhoma Irama, can be seen in the scenes glorifying God's power.

Abstract

Indonesian cinema has often portrayed the theme of marriage between different religions occasionally. These problems frequently occur in society and trigger a complicated negotiation process between the individuals concerned. The difficulty of negotiation is because religion and marriage have significant consequences for the stability of family and community networks, so decision-making is based on many considerations. The prohibition of marriages of different religions raises questions regarding the compelling ways for couples of various faiths to deal with the inner and physical conflicts caused by these events. This research examines the negotiation patterns of different religious couples in Indonesian films (Ayat-Ayat Cinta 1, Tanda Tanya, and Akhirat: A Love Story). Roland Barthes' semiotic theory and Gordon Allport's theory of religion are used in this study to examine the issue. The research can show how the three films offer a process of contemplation that ultimately leads the characters to make wise decisions and maintain broader harmonization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan proses digitalisasi yang ada dalam Webtoon “Uniknya Orang Jawa” karya Wangsit Raditya. Pada penelitian ini digunakan teori difusi inovasi, new media, dan digitalisasi. Adapun hasil yang ditemukan dari penelitian ini yaitu dalam proses perkembangannya, digitalisasi Webtoon “Uniknya Orang Jawa” karya Wangsit Raditya merupakan sebuah upaya yang digunakan untuk melestarikan kehidupan budaya Jawa dengan berdasarkan pada tahap-tahap difusi inovasi. Adapun digitalisasi budaya yang tampak dalam Webtoon “Uniknya Orang Jawa” karya Wangsit Raditya dapat terlihat dari media online yang dijadikan “rumah” untuk menyebarkan atau yang menjadi inovasi dalam menyebarkan kebudayaan Jawa yang dituliskan dalam menyebarkan kebudayaan Jawa yang dituliskan dalam karyanya.

Abstract

This study uses stylistic analysis with a qualitative descriptive method to looking for the representation of the three stages of human existence based on Soren Kierkegaard's existential philosophy in the poem “Nuh” by Sutardji Calzoum Bachri. Poetry was chosen as the object of research because it has the power of spiritual symbolism and complex existential themes. The analysis focuses on how the physical structural elements of the poem such as diction, figurative language, and imagery show that Kierkegaard's three stages of existence that is aesthetic, ethical, and religious. The results of the study show that the depiction of despair, suffering, and darkness in the first stanza represents the emergence of the aesthetic stage. The repetition of the word /tanah/ (land) which symbolizes moral awareness and surrender represents the emergence of the ethical stage. The plea for a /puncak/ (peak) which depicts spiritual hope and total surrender to God show that the emergence of the religious stage. This poem recounts the poet’s spiritual experience and depicts a broad existential journey from despair to transformation. “Nuh” combines poetic language with philosophical depth to interpret existential allegories.
