Abstrak Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak usia sekolah dasar merupakan fase penting yang membutuhkan pemantauan gizi secara berkala. Berat badan merupakan indikator sensitif untuk mendeteksi masalah gizi seperti underweight, stunting, maupun obesitas. Di Desa Pattallassang, Kecamatan Tompobulu, Kabupaten Bantaeng, pelaksanaan penimbangan berat badan setiap tiga bulan di posyandu menjadi langkah preventif untuk mengawasi status gizi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterlibatan orang tua terhadap kebiasaan menimbang berat badan anak usia sekolah dasar secara triwulanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh orang tua/wali murid anak sekolah dasar di Desa Pattallassang berjumlah sampel 21 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur, observasi, dan intervensi edukasi melalui tiga tahap kegiatan pengapdian masyarakat, termasuk penyuluhan, pemutaran video pencegahan stunting, dan pemberian edukasi gizi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kerutinan orang tua membawa anak untuk penimbangan, dari 5,6% pada tahap awal (sebelum intervensi) menjadi 85,71% pada tahap akhir (setelah intervensi). Pengetahuan orang tua meningkat dari 8% sebelum intervensi menjadi 100% setelah intervensi, dan sikap positif meningkat dari 46% menjadi 100%. Edukasi kesehatan dan pendampingan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, serta keterlibatan orang tua terhadap penimbangan berat badan anak sekolah dasar secara berkala. Abstract Growth and development of elementary school-aged children represent a crucial phase that requires regular nutritional monitoring. Body weight serves as a sensitive indicator to detect nutritional problems such as underweight, stunting, and obesity. In Pattallassang Village, Tompobulu District, Bantaeng Regency, quarterly weighing activities at the posyandu (community health post) are conducted as a preventive measure to monitor the nutritional status of children. This study aimed to determine the relationship between parents’ knowledge level, attitudes, and involvement and the habit of weighing their children’s body weight on a quarterly basis. The research employed a quantitative descriptive design using a survey approach. The study population consisted of all parents or guardians of elementary school students in Pattallassang Village, with a total sample of 21 respondents. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, observations, and educational interventions through three stages of community service activities, including health education sessions, video screenings on stunting prevention, and nutritional education. The results showed a significant increase in parents’ regularity in bringing their children for weighing from 5.6% at the initial stage (before intervention) to 85.71% at the final stage (after intervention). Parents’ knowledge improved from 8% before the intervention to 100% after, and positive attitudes increased from 46% to 100%. Health education and mentoring proved effective in enhancing parents’ knowledge, attitudes, and involvement in regular body weight monitoring of elementary school children.
