Introduction: Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a common health problem that can increase the risk of serious complications, including heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. In Central Java, the prevalence of hypertension reached 31.4% in 2023, indicating that approximately one in three people was affected. Elderly individuals are particularly vulnerable to hypertension and its complications due to age-related physiological changes and the presence of other risk factors. One non-pharmacological effort that can be implemented to prevent stroke and support blood pressure control is anti-stroke exercise. This activity involves simple physical movements that can help improve physical fitness, blood circulation, and functional ability in the elderly. Objective: This community service program (PkM) aimed to improve elderly people's knowledge and skills in performing anti-stroke exercises as an effort to prevent stroke and maintain health. Method: The activity was conducted using lecture, discussion, demonstration, and practice methods. Knowledge was evaluated using pre-test and post-test questionnaires administered to 19 elderly participants. Participants were also guided to practice anti-stroke exercises according to the demonstrated procedures. Results: The pre-test results showed that 84% of participants had low knowledge, while 16% had sufficient knowledge. After the educational intervention and exercise practice, 89% of participants achieved a high knowledge category, while 11% remained in the sufficient category. Conclusion: The community service program increased elderly participants' knowledge and skills regarding anti-stroke exercises and stroke prevention. Anti-stroke exercise education can be used as a simple non-pharmacological activity to support health promotion among the elderly.
