Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by Bankziska Lazismu in building volunteer loyalty, to identify the underlying factors behind these strategies, and to examine their impact on volunteer commitment. This phenomenon is noteworthy as it reveals a group of individuals willing to contribute without financial compensation yet remain highly motivated and dedicated to their service. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with managers, staff, and volunteers of Bankziska Lazismu and through documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted inductively to identify strategic patterns that emerged empirically in the field. The findings indicate that Bankziska Lazismu applies welfare-based and engagement-oriented strategies to enhance volunteer loyalty. This is reflected in providing incentives, welfare programs, gifts, and various forms of appreciation. Furthermore, the organization strengthens loyalty through intensive communication, volunteer involvement in institutional activities, and capacity-building training programs. However, the implementation of some strategies remains suboptimal, such as family gatherings, continuous training, and the provision of supporting facilities. Therefore, optimizing the implementation of these strategies is necessary to strengthen volunteer loyalty more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Introduction: The collection of zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) funds through official institutions still faces various challenges, such as low public awareness, limited use of digital technology, and the non-optimal fundraising strategy carried out by zakat management institutions. On the other hand, there are still many people who distribute zakat directly to mustahik so that the potential for collecting zakat through institutions has not been maximized. Research Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation with informants consisting of management, fundraising team, and related parties at NU Care Lazisnu Ponorogo Regency. Results: The results of the study show that the fundraising strategy of NU Care Lazisnu Ponorogo has applied a segmentation, targeting, positioning, branding, and tactical planning approach through the NU Coin program, dawn alms, social activities, social media, bank transfer services, and the use of the Nahdlatul Ulama organizational network. The implementation of the strategy is supported by the strong structural network of Nahdlatul Ulama, high public trust, and the existence of sustainable social programs. However, there are still obstacles in the form of limited human resources, suboptimal digitalization of fundraising, low public understanding of zakat through institutions, and operational constraints in the field. Conclusion: The fundraising strategy implemented has a positive impact on increasing public awareness in paying zakat through official institutions, although its implementation still requires strengthening aspects of digital technology, program innovation, and human resource development.

Abstract

Introduction: This study examines the effect of murabahah, mudharabah, musyarakah, and ijarah financing on the profitability of Bank Muamalat Indonesia during 2015–2024. Profitability is an important indicator in measuring the effectiveness of Islamic bank performance in managing productive assets. However, the increase in financing distribution is not always followed by an increase in profitability, creating a gap between theory and empirical facts. Research Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from Bank Muamalat Indonesia financial reports for the 2015–2024 period. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. Results: The results indicate that murabahah, mudharabah, and musyarakah financing have a positive and significant effect on profitability, while ijarah financing has a negative and significant effect on profitability. Simultaneously, all financing variables significantly affect profitability. Conclusion: Financing management has an important role in improving Islamic bank profitability. Therefore, Islamic banks need to optimize financing quality and operational efficiency to improve financial performance sustainably.
