Abstract

Senior High School 10 Kendari is one of the high schools in Kendari that implements online learning during the Covid-19 pandemi. This study aims to: 1) describe the preparations made by Geography teachers in implementing online learning; and 2) describe the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the research subject of Geography teachers at Senior High School 10 Kendari. The results showed that: 1) the preparations made before starting the lesson were preparing learning materials to be taught in the form of powerpoints and learning videos as well as preparing tools such as laptops and headsets; and 2) For the Geography subject, the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemi at Senior High School 10 Kendari was carried out face-to-face virtually using the Zoom application, starting from preliminary activities, core activities, closing activities to the assessment stage.

Abstract

Senior high school 2 Pasarwajo is one of the schools in Pasarwajo District, Buton Regency which is the object of research because the results of learning geography are still low as seen from the daily test scores of students who still have not reached the KKM. This is because the teachers who teach still use conventional methods in the form of lectures so that students become passive. The aims of this study are: 1) to describe student learning activities by applying the Problem Based Learning model; 2) to describe teacher teaching activities by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model; and 3) to find out the increase in geography learning outcomes for class X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Pasarwajo by applying the PBL model to the material on the Dynamics of the Planet Earth as a Space for Life. This research is a class action research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class X IPS 2. Learning outcomes were measured using observation sheets and learning achievement tests. The results showed that: 1) in cycle I, the average score obtained from student activity was 2.5 in the sufficient category and increased to 3.4 in the good category in cycle II; 2) in cycle I the average score obtained from the teacher's teaching activities was 2.6 in the sufficient category and increased to 3.5 in the good category in cycle II; 3) student learning outcomes increased by 18% after applying the problem based learning model from cycle I student learning outcomes increased by 64% to increase by 82% in cycle II.

Abstract

Oil palm plants have an important meaning in the development of national plantations in Indonesia. The aims of this research are: 1) to describe the social condition of employees of PT. Tani Prima Makmur; and 2) describe the economic condition of employees of PT. Tani Prima Makmur. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Determination of respondents in the study using simple random sampling technique with a total of 32 respondents. The results showed that: 1) the social condition of employees has a relatively good level of education with the last level of education being at the high school level, the health condition of employees is also quite good, social interaction among employees is going well; and the housing conditions for the employees are very good where most of the employees already have their own houses, the walls of the buildings are permanent, have SEC lighting, and use PDAM clean water sources; 2) the economic condition is quite good with employee income ranging from Rp. 2,552,014 - Rp. 4000,000 with an average income of Rp. 3,457,005/month and employee expenses are relatively high with an average expenditure of Rp.2,078,125/month.

Abstract

Senior High School 6 Kendari has problems implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka due to low human resources. The implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka is hampered by teachers who lack literacy about technology, making it difficult to keep up with developments in learning technology in the digital era. The objectives of this research are: 1) determine teacher readiness in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka; and 2) know the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at Senior High School 6 Kendari. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this research are as follows: 1) teacher readiness in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka at Senior High School 6 Kendari is the action of the school in preparing facilities and infrastructure because the role of facilities and infrastructure is very important in supporting the learning process; 2) the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka has been carried out in classes X, XI, and XII. Things that have been implemented are project-based learning, 6 Pancasila Profiles, and subject-based learning where science and social studies subjects are combined into IPAS.
