Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of Kopi Muria Zayna still face challenges in managing production and sales activities that are conducted manually and are not yet integrated. This condition results in weak control over raw material inventory, suboptimal production planning, and inaccurate sales recording and reporting that require considerable time. This study aims to analyze the role of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in supporting production and sales management at Kopi Muria Zayna MSME. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method through several stages, including analysis of the existing system (As-Is), identification of system requirements, and design of the proposed ERP-based system (To-Be). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while system analysis was conducted using the PIECES framework. The results indicate that an ERP system conceptually has the potential to improve production process efficiency, enhance integrated management of raw material and finished goods inventory, and support more accurate and structured sales recording and reporting. Furthermore, ERP can assist MSME owners in making more precise and timely data-driven decisions. Therefore, the ERP system plays a strategic role in supporting operational effectiveness and the long-term business sustainability of Kopi Muria Zayna MSME.

Abstract

As a public facility, traditional markets play an important role in supporting the economic activities of the community, particularly for micro and small business actors. However, kiosk management in traditional markets is still carried out manually, making it prone to delayed data updates and data loss. This research is directed toward designing and implementing a tag-location-based kiosk monitoring information system integrated with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support the prioritization of vacant kiosks at Mayong Market and Kalinyamatan Market, Jepara Regency. The novelty of this research lies in the application of a tag-location feature integrated with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support kiosk monitoring and vacant kiosk prioritization within a single system. The system was developed using the Waterfall method by utilizing latitude and longitude coordinates integrated with a digital map to support visual and real-time monitoring of kiosk location and occupancy status. The SAW method was applied to 163 vacant kiosks, consisting of 69 kiosks at Mayong Market and 94 kiosks at Kalinyamatan Market. The results show that at Mayong Market, kiosk LT2.IV/10 obtained the highest SAW score of 0.96, while at Kalinyamatan Market, kiosk PKL.U/15 obtained the highest score of 1.00. Black Box Testing on 10 test scenarios showed that all system functions ran according to user requirements. The integration of the tag-location feature with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can serve as an approach in developing a location-based decision support system for the management of traditional market kiosks.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores integrated marketing communication strategies for tourism village development by employing the Pentahelix model as an analytical framework. The research addresses challenges of limited stakeholder synergy and weak integration of marketing strategies. The objectives are to examine the roles of Pentahelix stakeholders—government, academia, community, business, and media—in shaping tourism communication; to identify internal and external factors influencing the effectiveness of marketing communication; and to formulate strategies for sustainable and competitive growth. A qualitative approach was adopted, utilizing in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and SWOT analysis. Findings reveal that stakeholder collaboration has established a moderately effective communication ecosystem, with the government acting as facilitator, academia as innovator, community as primary driver, business as economic enabler, and media as promotional catalyst. Nevertheless, challenges persist in coordination, human resource capacity, and fragmented information systems. SWOT analysis positions tourism villages in a strategic quadrant for aggressive growth. Recommended strategies include optimizing digital promotion, strengthening inter-village collaboration, fostering private sector partnerships, and enhancing marketing capacity and integrated information systems. This research contributes to the literature on tourism communication and provides practical guidance for tourism village managers in designing effective and sustainable marketing communication strategies.

Abstract

Access to clean and sustainable drinking water continues to be a significant concern, especially in areas with considerable variability in source quality. This study used the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) approach to evaluate and rank 22 drinking water sources in Central Java, Indonesia, according to several physicochemical characteristics. The study process starts with the entry of sub-district, village, time, and laboratory result data, subsequently leading to the establishment of assessment criteria and their corresponding weights. Subsequent to the MOORA computations, rankings are produced and compiled into a detailed report. The results indicate that sources X21, X19, and X18 got the best ratings, signifying excellent water quality conditions, whereas X12 rated lowest, underscoring the necessity for focused action. In contrast to conventional evaluation methods, MOORA provides computational efficiency, clear prioritizing, and less subjectivity, facilitating consistent and reproducible multi-criteria evaluations. The results offer practical suggestions for enhancing water treatment processes, prioritizing resource distribution, and directing future incorporation of Internet of Things (IoT) monitoring for real-time assessment and adaptive management. This method integrates technical evaluation with pragmatic policy formulation, enhancing operational efficiency and promoting long-term sustainability in water delivery systems.
