Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Tarbiyatul Islamiyah values in preventing bullying behavior in the school environment. The study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing various relevant sources related to Islamic education and bullying issues. The findings indicate that the core values of Tarbiyatul Islamiyah, such as rahmah (compassion), muamalah hasanah, sabr (patience), afw (forgiveness), and taqwa (piety), play a significant role in shaping students’ character, particularly in fostering empathy, emotional self-control, and social responsibility. The consistent implementation of these values through learning activities, teachers’ role modeling, and the cultivation of school culture is effective in reducing bullying behaviors, including physical, verbal, relational, and cyber bullying. Compared to conventional approaches that emphasize punitive measures, Tarbiyatul Islamiyah offers a more preventive and sustainable framework for character education. This study contributes conceptually to the development of Islamic value-based character education in creating a safe and inclusive school environment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi nilai Tarbiyatul Islamiyah dalam upaya mencegah perilaku bullying di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode library research melalui penelaahan berbagai literatur yang relevan dengan pendidikan Islam dan fenomena bullying. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Tarbiyatul Islamiyah, seperti rahmah, muamalah hasanah, sabr, afw, dan taqwa, memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berempati, mampu mengendalikan emosi, serta memiliki tanggung jawab sosial. Implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut secara konsisten melalui pembelajaran, keteladanan pendidik, dan pembiasaan budaya sekolah terbukti efektif dalam menekan perilaku bullying, baik secara fisik, verbal, relasional, maupun siber. Pendekatan Tarbiyatul Islamiyah dinilai lebih preventif dan berkelanjutan dibandingkan pendekatan konvensional yang hanya berfokus pada sanksi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan konseptual dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam di sekolah.
